As soon as I saw Trachtman's AKAs for the first time, I got the TUE joke. Do you think Maury was aware of your former suspect Steve Rockman, and chose that pseudonym intentionally? I myself think it's a possibility. The one pseudonym that makes no sense is "Gorman Johnson" for Norman Silberstein. I've wondered about that a lot. Steve Rockman matched the description of "Reeve" to such an eerie extent that it's hard to chalk up that description to coincidence. The "Gorman" part of the Norman Silberstein alias was almost certainly a reference to David O'Gorman, who also lived across the street from Berkowitz's building, but why Maury chose a name so potentially ripe for confusion is anyone's guess. The real kicker for me, though, was the "British doctor" who settled in Yonkers in 1946 or '47 and is supposed to have inaugurated the cult. The doc is actually a composite of at least three people, neither all physicians nor all British. (That being said, however, the evidence does point squarely in their direction. It just drives you nuts when you're looking for literally one doc who had a practice on North Broadway after the war.) Jon, can you shed any light on when exactly Trachtman moved to Denver? Max has always stated through inuendo that Trachtman creeped out of NYC under cover of darkness right before the Zeman atrocity hit the airwaves, but I've seen evidence Trachtman relocated a business he owns out to Denver in 2015.

I’m being serious about my question. I’ve investigated the Dermond Murders myself and read the TUE 5 times in the past 2 years. I’m blocked by Manny on Twitter for accusing him of being in the Process about 45 days ago. I read George’s Cavdef website daily and listen to Jon on The Stones Unturned Podcast and Opperman Report.,

Quite a bit about Dr Oschsner in Dr Mary’s Monkeys by Ed Haslam. Oschner was clearly working for the CIA. Helping out with MKUltra plus a vaccine that could kill Castro. SV-40 somehow got in the polio vaccine which helped the massive increase in cancer cases after 1965. Another interesting Manson connection to the CIA milieu in New Orleans: "Family" member Bruce Davis was treated during childhood (around 1952) for a carotid aneurysm at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. Go to this link and play the video starting at 25:55 to hear Davis speaking about it. The Ochsner Clinic was started by Alton Ochsner, a wealthy New Orleans businessman who co-founded and financially supported the Information Council of the Americas (INCA) of which Ed Butler was executive director. Ochsner was friends with Clay Shaw, and in fact feared being indicted in Jim Garrison's investigation. He was very likely part of MKUltra, through his involvement with Tulane University's medical school (identified as a site of experimentation by MK victims like Claudia Mullen) and the East Louisiana State Hospital (where Oswald had once applied for a job and where LSD "treatments" went on). That might raise some questions about what kind of treatment Davis received from the Ochsner Clinic...

Check out Operation Cointelpro and Operation Chaos. The CIA wasn’t supposed to be working on American soil but by creating an organized cult they could literally do whatever they wanted. Assassination, kidnapping, two girls from Dothan, Alabama were executed in 1999 because they had knowledge of drug trafficking and child porn. Intelligence agents excuted the girls and as of 2018 are trying to pin it on a black male. The truth is known in small circles but they kill anyone that finds out. For Marionumber1 What does it mean when you or others speculate that the Process was CIA/MI6 front? And what is "the bizarre witchcraft angle"? The Arliss Perry investigation you provided has a lengthy letter by Berkowitz writing about Satanic groups and how they like to kill so once again what do you mean by bizarre witchcraft angle? The other thing of note in the Berkowitz letter is his attempt to gain employment at an animal shelter. Is the Process not now the owner of the largest dog sanctuary in the country? As for the Process, I don't entirely dismiss the role of such a group, though I have always seen it as little more than a CIA/MI6 front for murder-for-hire and other organized crime operations. Maury sometimes presents it like that but at other times plays up the bizarre witchcraft angle, and those are some of the weakest parts of his whole book in my view (e.g. all the tenuous occult associations that he and Larry Siegel were trying to pick out of the Breslin letter).

And Steve Rockman, the other main "Reeve" suspect, has got to be one of the biggest trolls I've ever seen. He obviously heard the speculation about himself and had some fun with it. Tomdex, what was the backstory on this?
It's good to see "Steve" took it in a good nature way, but it goes to show what a fine line and potentially dangerous game it is to throw someone's real name out there (or allude to one), who isn't involved. Especially, given the subject matter and in these times of the internet.
If four people have strong convictions in four different suspects, three of the four are wrong and probably the fourth one is too.

No, I'm not sure when Trachtman relocated, but I was hearing the same thing: that he left New York on the eve of the documentary's release. The earlier date is interesting.

From what I can see, Trockman hauled stakes for Denver in January, 2021, and gave up his address in Great Neck at the same time. So, it wasn't like a second home. He moved. Apparenty. It looks like the "business" name is "Advanced Micro Systems?" Or is that an older business of his? 411.info/business/Advanced-Microsystems-Denver-CO-17310736He's also owned Trackstar Photography and Steppingstone Capital. Oh, and the mortgage on his new condo in Denver is 1,000,000.00 and change, if anyone wants to pay it off.

Omega, I'm proposing the idea that he's known about the speculation about him due to the numerous photos he's had taken over the years where he seems to be intentionally hiding his hand, and the 2 different photos I've seen where he strategically placed himself in front of the Samaritan Village sign so only "Sam" was showing while flashing a creepy grin, to the extra LinkedIn account he had at one time where he stated he was, iirc, "Vice President of Real Estate development" or something to that effect. It just struck me as having very much a sense of black humor about the whole thing. And I'm not a big believer in coincidence. As to multiple different suspects probably being wrong, I agree. There's a "Rockman" in Arizona who matched the description given in TUE almost as well as Steve Rockman did, and in some respects even better, as he had direct ties to the same Queens neighborhoods as Trachtman.

I have a hunch the size of a Chubby Behemoth that the members themselves used those pseudonyms to a great extent. And there would be deliberate ambiguity. Just like the Hells Angels and other smartly organized gangs.

How deceptive is it of Manny Grossman and his former-YPD entourage to declare that a badly taken and way-too-dark newspaper photograph of Patrick O'Shaughnessy matches the last Son of Sam composite from the Violante/Moskowitz shooting?
How bad is it that Gary Hanley unequivocally states he thought that sketch resembled Patrick O'Shaughnessy as soon as he saw it in the newspaper for the first time? Either he wasn't exactly the YPD cream of the crop, or he's aiding a false narrative now.
Do none of these people have any idea exactly how NYPD came up with that last sketch, which looks more like former politician Herman Badillo than it does Patrick O'Shaughnessy?

It didn’t help when he threatened to expose Maury as a rape victim to bolster his theory that Maury wrote TUE as revenge against the Carrs (an old Wheat talking point). Here's something weird: the "John Carr raped Maury Terry so he got revenge by framing Carr for Son of Sam" theory was, as far as I can tell, first promoted by a vehement pedophile ring "debunker". This guy has been at it online since the early 2000s under several names, including Roy Harrold (on Websleuths, discussing the Johnny Gosch case), Vindalf (under which he left a 1-star Amazon review of Nick Bryant's book The Franklin Scandal), fantasypopper (on Reddit, where he's made several baseless posts and comments to dispute pedophile ring connections to the Dean Corll and Johnny Gosch cases), and RDobbson (on Twitter). He also used to post on this very forum under the name mysteriouscourtier. Here he is on Twitter advancing that theory as far back as late 2020:
Perhaps Manny came up with that same theory independently, or he happened to come across RDobbson's postings and decided to adopt it. But I find it a little strange that Manny tried to promote the same obscure theory as a disinformationist who has quite literally made it his life's mission to "debunk" elite pedophile rings. And I couldn't necessarily say that the theory is false, but there is no evidence for it that I'm aware of.

And I couldn't necessarily say that the theory is false, but there is no evidence for it that I'm aware of. Why would you say, "used to post" here? I'm so happy that you missed me, and continue to be obsessed with me, young feller! I posted that "theory", right on this forum under "John and Michael Carr", Jan.21, 2021 @8:41a.m. Prof. Horan even "liked" it (so there, and neener-neener!) Sheer speculation, and I've never claimed it was anything else. But John Paul Ranieri's story is highly suggestive of exactly such a speculation. You know he claims, that as a Junior in High School he was "raped in" to a cult by none other than his schoolmate John Carr, and that 3 other Juniors also suffered that fate. Ranieri doesn't name them, but it's no secret that Maury Terry was at the same High School for at least one year. Thus, and barring any further disclosures by Ranieri (names of the other victims), it's possible Maury Terry was one of them! Not to mention, Wheat Carr's oblique remark, that Maury Terry was motivated by a grudge over "things that happened in High School" (!) Considering Maury Terry's propensity for publicly engaging in outrageously slanderous rumor-mongering and even more outrageous public speculations, about OTHER people, I feel absolutely justified in publicly speculating about HIM in return. Can hardly think of a more deserving person, to be idly speculated about. Ed Sanders and his pederast buddies perhaps, but there's time for that still. Thank you for misrepresenting my life's work, yet again. You know, it really suggests that you must FEAR what I have to say...all your efforts to discredit my words via personal attacks on me. Har-dee-har! Hilarious, if true. You know that I was victimized by professional child pornographers as a young teen, and that I was later recruited by detectives from our Integrated Intelligence Unit (IIU), to assist them in their investigation of allegations about "satanic abuse cults" in our province. I worked with them, off & on, from 1988 to 1992, on that project. You may not like what I have to say about those subjects, but I did my best to serve my community and especially all victims of child sexual abuse (in whatever form), by donating hundreds of hours of my time and effort to those detectives. If I didn't think, that YOU believe you are also 'serving your community' and it's Survivors, by digging into all these old cases, I would be a lot less respectful in my replies to you. I'm no pedophile ring skeptic, I know about and understand the realities very well. I also understand the damage, that false & fraudulent speculations about that subject can cause. I've told you before, if you didn't live through it, there are some things about the history of that you just are not capable of understanding the same way as those who did. I'm sorry if that offends you, but it's a reality. You were not even an egg yet, when loony Diane Core proclaimed at a conference in Rome, that; "satanic cultists are pedophile gang members, and pedophile gang members are satranic cultists". Wildly popular theory with born-again & fundamentalist 'satan hunters', but a dangerously ignorant conjecture. At the time, we had victims and survivors of sexual abuse at Mount Cashel Orphanage trying to get ANYONE to listen to them and help them to get the Justice they deserved, (not to mention, stopping the cycle of moving clergy offenders around to abuse more kids somewhere else!). And no one wanted to hear them, least of all the media. Everyone already knew, "pedophiles are all satanists", so Catholic clergy and Lay Brothers couldn't possibly be responsible for abusing THOUSANDS of helpless children...

For anyone who's interested in doing a handwriting comparison of those annotations in The Anatomy of Witchcraft, I actually have a copy of the "hunted, stalked and slain" note from the limited portion of the Arlis Perry case file that police gave to me. And I have also wondered about this group of prison informants that Maury relied on. Most of the time it's presented as if these informants are just passing on information that Berkowitz told them, but this isn't always the case. I made reference to this in another thread some time ago: "Vinny" had knowledge of the (Nugan Hand?) heroin trafficking operation that did not come from Berkowitz. From p.831-832 of the 1999 edition (my emphasis added): As for the Process, I don't entirely dismiss the role of such a group, though I have always seen it as little more than a CIA/MI6 front for murder-for-hire and other organized crime operations. Maury sometimes presents it like that but at other times plays up the bizarre witchcraft angle, and those are some of the weakest parts of his whole book in my view (e.g. all the tenuous occult associations that he and Larry Siegel were trying to pick out of the Breslin letter). Not to mention it does seem like the sources promoting Process involvement in other major cases have often been questionable. For instance, Maury makes a big emphasis of how Vincent Bugliosi was on to the Process connections of Manson from the start, and has nothing but good things to say about his work prosecuting the Manson case; though it's pretty clear per Tom O'Neill's book that Bugliosi's prosecution theory was a work of fiction. Ed Sanders was the other major source of Manson/Process links, and while I believe Sanders himself was honest, much of his investigation relied on a private investigator named Larry Larsen who's been into some very interesting cases ( Los Angeles Times, "The Larsen Files : Their Cases Alone--J. David Dominelli, the MGM Hotel Fire--Make Them Extraordinary. But There’s Another Twist: They’re a Father-Daughter Detective Team", 1987/06/07): And Maury's own California investigation, which is full of so many anonymous sources that it's nearly impossible to verify, was helped along by "former" high-level FBI agent Ted Gunderson, an incredibly suspect figure in his own right. Well now, you have progressed - haven't you? "Maury sometimes presents it like that but at other times plays up the bizarre witchcraft angle, and those are some of the weakest parts of his whole book in my view" "e.g. all the tenuous occult associations..." "...it does seem like the sources promoting Process involvement in other major cases have often been questionable" "...was helped along by "former" high-level FBI agent Ted Gunderson, an incredibly suspect figure in his own right" I'm genuinely pleased and impressed, that you express a less gullible and more skeptical take on these things, than was apparent when you were promoting Programmed To Kill/Satanic Cover-Up a lot, and seemingly taking Henry Lucas' stories at face value.
