K is for knife.
One person reported for having knife "wounds" that were healing.
Not Mardy. Not Bo. Not Marilyn. Not Sheila. Not anyone else that we know.
Just that one guy. The one that was off the chain. Wrote years later on fb how to take a needle out of an arm safely. Yeeesh
I feel we've all gotten bogged down with the Dmac (compiracy much?) and Gam (shameful, and Mike, if you're reading this you should be ASHAMED with your lack of EVERYTHING). I refuse to believe every single cop from start to finish was in on this. Ridiculous. Just ridiculous.
Soooo----getting back to what matters: Who killed Sue and her family?
K is for knife. Also knife wounds. And knife scabs.
Why only one report of this? Because maybe it's important---not too many "Holy crap this guy I know had knife scabs" out there. Kinda big. idk I keep coming back to it though.

Its that time again where I go back over a bunch of stuff and jump in the way back machine. It appears Gamberg felt strongly Daniel French was the best suspect at one point.

Me too Snoho! I've been been checking out the wayback machine myself the past couple days. Keeping track of anything interesting I come across and will make a post soon. Gamberg's thoughts sure changed drastically over the years.
And I agree with you too jmo. That is something I come back to as well, that and his brother. Reading through the old posts there were people from the area who thought chuck was involved. Plus the whole "keddie machete" thing. However, chuck apparently passed the lie detector, regarding involvement or knowing who was involved (I know those results can be unreliable though). And i also go back to Steve h, his behavior is highly suspect and what you would expect from someone involved. Add in his sister & refusal to take a polygraph during her murder investigation + knowledge of location & leaving the area immediately after keddie. Too many suspicious people.

If it's this hard for us, 40 years and tons of info later, than just imagine how hard it was for LE at the time of the murders - even through the '80's.
Karis and I had one desire when we joined this forum: To get people to see that the "evidence" against Marty Smartt was based on rumor and speculation. We wanted to know who committed these murders even if it was Marty Smartt, but we were well aware of the many other POI's whose stories are very questionable.
Chuck and Henry. Yes, Chuck had old cuts on his hand when questioned weeks later but that just makes me go back to the "acid party". If Chuck - or any of his family - had a party near Keddie then some of these questionable people may very well have been there. But how do we work them into the murders in 28? Doug Thomas seemed to think the murders were drug related based on what he said on the documentary. That is why there was such a public plea for young people to come forward with info.
Then again from all we've been told there was no trace of anyone being in that cabin other than the people already there yet we do believe that someone had to have been in 28 or come to 28 to help.
Steve leaves me shaking my head. What was he doing at Mrs. Alvey's so early in the morning trying to get out of town? Why did he leave her sisters house abruptly after the tv show airing the Keddie murders? The sad truth is while LE was chasing down campfire rumors a very good POI was fleeing town and it wouldn't be known for years and many PON's later. So sad that Mrs.Alvey, for whatever reason, did not tell this at the time of the murders and let the police decide if it was relevant or not.
