Palo Alto authorities "closed" the Perry case in 2018 based on "trace" DNA evidence matching long-time suspect Steve Crawford, the security guard who reported finding her body. Crawford, knowing police were coming to arrest him, reportedly shot himself in the head as police entered his apartment. Who is, and was, Steven Crawford? How did he get the job of security guard at Stanford University? Was he involved in a Satanic cult?

Yes, I'm curious to his background.Haven't heard anything about having ties to cult but will have to do more research.

I mean, he must have had friends. Hobbies. He must have done SOMETHING with his free time besides fencing stolen artifacts. And just who was he selling this stuff to?

I'd like to know if some of the books he stole somehow made their way to the Grolier Club in NY. Wouldn't that be something?

A quick search shows the NY Grolier Club to have held events at Stanford. We all know the "book loving banker" lol

I noticed the name too, I doubt they're relation. It wouldn't surprise me if they were somehow related though.

Wanna hear something more strange? Bruce J. Crawfords wife graduated from Stanford in 1977, and teaches there now! Lol
