There are two parts to the Great Zodiac Killer Hoax—the first part is the myth Robert Graysmith perpetuated in his 1986 book, ZODIAC. In his book, Graysmith claimed that the actual files of the various law enforcement agencies who investigated the murders of Cheri Jo Bates, David Faraday, Betty Lou Jensen, Darlene Ferrin, Cecilia Ann Shepard, and Paul Stine proved that a lone serial killer committed all six murders and wrote a series of taunting letters, threats, and mysterious cryptograms to the San Francisco Chronicle and other newspapers. Graysmith claimed that convicted sex offender Arthur Leigh Allen (referred to in ZODIAC as "Robert Hall Starr") was the Zodiac Killer and the author of the Zodiac Killer letters. Those files have become available for us to read. Reading those files proves that, in fact, Robert Graysmith lied about the evidence, lied about the witness statements, lied about the suspects, lied about the frame around Allen—and lied about the authenticity of the "Zodiac Killer" letters. The Great Zodiac Killer Hoax of 1986 by Thomas Henry Horan exposes Graysmith's hoax of a book chapter by chapter, fact by fact—and reveals evidence that indicates Robert Graysmith himself wrote several of the Zodiac Killer letters. The Great Zodiac Killer Hoax of 1986 by Thomas Henry Horan is available for preorder now! (Scheduled delivery date May 27, 2015) www.amazon.com/Great-Zodiac-Killer-Hoax-1986-ebook/dp/B00WTUB602

Hey Mr.Horan, I'm a fan of ur work. .I previously requested that u send me the complete bundle of files u have gathered over time to prove ur theory on the case..I haven't received them yet..I would again like to ask if u could foward all those files to me..I'm a fan of ur thoughts on the case..also I wanted to ask u some questions on the lake berryessa attacks, with regards to ur theory, according to Bryan hartnell the person who attacked him wore that crazy outfit, the circle with crosshairs costume (zodiac symbol)..who do u think that person was? Im not sure when that crosshairs symbol was printed in the paper, known to the public or when the cops first came across it, but it's kinda weird that someone would wear that costume with that symbol on it and someone else is using that same symbol in the "zodiac" letters..I would like ur thoughts on that..I hope to hear from u soon..thanks

Philly: Must have been a problem with the AOL account (it's a huge zip file on Google Drive.) I just tried again with the gmail address. According to my book ;-) the prime suspect by far in the Lake Berryessa attack was Park Ranger Dennis Land himself. He's also a good suspect in the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker murders. He fit the description of the assailant to a T; he was undoubtedly the creeper ogling girls on the beach earlier that day; he had a motive (oh, wow, did he have a motive); he tampered with the crime scene evidence; he owned a pair of Academy police uniform shoes (also marketed under the brand name "Wing Walker"); and most damning of all, his own statements to investigators were extremely incriminating—along with the park HQ radio dispatcher's log. For example, he followed Bryan and Cecelia down the highway after they crossed the Pope Creek bridge. Something he "forgot" to tell his close buddy, deputy Collins. Collins has also lied quite a bit to cover up for Dennis and his brother Ray. Etc, etc, etc. (Ray was also a suspect, as detailed in my book.) There is another teeeeeeeeeentative "suspect," one who also fit the description of the assailant. A known serial killer who may have had a penchant for deliberately framing others for some of his crimes—and who once did a stretch at Deer Lodge prison in Montana. One big problem is that there is no particular reason for thinking he attacked the kids at Lake Berryessa that day. Another problem is, he "confessed" to a lot of murders (the way those pesky serial killers do) he couldn't have done. But, you know, maybe . . . Funny thing is, he also matched very closely the physical appearance of Donald Lee Bujok, who some consider to be a suspect and who was supposedly sighted in the area by witnesses during that time period. Bujok seems an unlikely suspect, but, maybe the witnesses were really describing what's-his-name. He, Bujok, and Ray Land also bore an eery resemblance to Arthur Leigh Allen (Allen and Ray Land could have been twins.) But a mountain of evidence points straight to Dennis Land. If he hadn't had an alibi for the Stine murder, he would have been charged in Cecelia's murder, I think. There is zero doubt that the Vallejo Times Herald, the number one newspaper in Napa, published a photocopy of the entire first letter, including the circled crosshair symbol, on their front page on August 4, 1969. Of course, that letter did not mention the name "Zodiac," and no newspaper published that name before the Lake Berryessa attack. The assailant did not mention the name "Zodiac" to the victims, nor did the prank caller mention that name. Etc etc etc To sum up: he did NOTHING to prove he was not a copycat, and EVERYTHING he did do clearly indicates copycat. Graysmith's fraud is debunked here: tinyurl.com/GZKH1986BookIf you'd like to know who REALLY wrote the Zodiac Killer letters: tinyurl.com/GZKH1969-Kindle-2nd-Edition

Hot dog! I had given up all hope of anyone ever finding these articles. People had claimed they existed, but no one had copies. You should have signed your comment, silly! Why am I so excited? Because this proves that the copycat was from Napa. How? You see, the Vallejo Times Herald was distributed in Napa, but the smaller print run (afternoon) News Chronicle was not. Both were owned by Gibson Publications. The Times Herald was the biggest circulation paper in Napa. The Napa Register and the Vallejo News Chronicle were much smaller. Since the copycat got ALL of his formation from the Times Herald, and NONE from the News Chronicle, we can conclude he lived in Napa. You know who lived in Napa? Dennis Land. You know who else lived in Napa? The person writing the Zodiac letters. How do we know? Same reason. The person writing the letters knew what had and had not been printed in the SF Chronicle and the Vallejo Times Herald, but did not know what had been printed in the News Chronicle (ten shots fired at LHR, etc.)
Told you so.
Who are you? Do you have any other clippings? Do you happen to have any phone books from Vallejo from the 1970s?
Thanks a million! If you're Voigt or Butterfield or Morf (is that you, Morf? You rascal?) have a free snicker: Snicker.

I tried to send you the link to the zip file with all the pages (except for these two new articles from the VN-C) to your Gmail address. Did you not get it? If not, we'll figure out something else.

I couldn't figure out how to start a new thread.
Maybe you can start one for "Possible spelling and grammatical errors"
In section 1503 of GZKH1986 There is a period after "praising" and before "Toschi". I don't think it belongs there.
"Maupin and Maley felt that the latest Zodiac was similar in "tone" to some anonymous fan letters Maupin had received praising. Toschi, and they though Toschi had written them."
