Andy (who had gone to Blue Rock Springs Park with a hot date in his hand-me-down gray Cadillac) was only briefly considered a suspect. However, "Zodiac," in his second letter, claimed to be Andy. No mention of Andy's arrest appeared anywhere in the media, so only someone who had access to Hoffman or Meyring's reports could have known about him.

I can't help but think there might be a SLIGHT possibility that Andy Nickolatos wasn't the only person to have a beam of guilt thrown in their direction by the first letters. Perhaps not, but still of note.
Quick aside, I believe the person at Stanford was Fred Terman. And guess what he worked on during WWII...radar. He worked at the Radio Research Laboratory at Harvard developing radar jamming tech.

By George! You may have saved Hal from being hanged as the Zodiac! Well, what I mean is, George MIGHT also fit the Stine suspect sketch. Hal is the one with the crew cut and widow's peak, but George sure as shooting fits the description of the "taxicab bandit" given by the cab driver who was locked in the trunk of his own cab.
I had completely forgotten George, that he was from Manila, lived in Yountville, and worked in St Helena for Harold ______ [uuuuuuhhhh...Snook?] The Land family ranch was just outside Yountville, and Ray and his wife lived in St Helena. You know what? If he was born in 1946, HE COULD BE HAL'S SON.
I will give Georgie boy his own thread in a day or so.
