Thanks Omega. It was hard because pretty soon it became clear that he was either being cagey or just didn't remember a lot. I think it's a mixture of both. This isn't the last we've heard from Det. Cinotti. He agreed to more interviews and I told him that next time we want files and more info. He said ok. We'll see. I really appreciate your positivity and I thought seeing him in the flesh with all those statues really added a lot of depth to the image we all get when reading about him in TUE. I was very excited to at least get him on tape talking. He was totally gracious and invited me into his home no problem. I was a little freaked out actually because going into strangers homes is "like so 2019." Everyone so scared now of others. And next time, Manny, please...PLEASE accept the Pepsi! The information may have flowed more freely!

Watched the interview today...it was...interesting. Do you think, though, that you might be narrowing your focus a bit too much? While the localized approach might uncover exactly why the psychos involved got to be psychos in the first place, it's not going to uncover exactly why they were unleashed on NYC later on.

I don't think I'm narrowing the focus Justice. I know I am. I am doing it on purpose. I'm just much more interested in the back story of the actual members of the 22 than I am about larger motives and operations we can never really prove or disprove. There are plenty of other researchers delving into that work anyway, but none, as far as I know, that are deep diving into the Lake Ave area like we are in the series.

Remove Berky and the SoS killings altogether and you’re still left with a really strange tale about some disturbed and disturbing individuals.

Berky was a johnny come lately to the Lake Ave scene. Berky is actually one of the least interesting people in this whole saga to me.

The Catholic school they attended, were they a little more advanced than public schools at the time? For instance, would the average Holy Mary Whatever student have tested into “gifted” classes in public school?

Hey Ace,I believe Michael Carr actually attended a prestigious h.s., in Manhattan.Rhodes Preparatory school, west 54Th street.Interesting he ended up there and not Sacred Heart or Gorton h.s.He obviously had academic ability that was recognized and that school probably wasn't cheap. You usually needed some sort of sponsor,or alumni help or amazing grades to qualify. I always felt of the players were aware of,he would have been most likely to write the Breslin letter.Graphic arts background as well as photography. You cant help but get the feeling the author of that really had it in for John and Sam Carr.I believe the author was very familiar with them and that particular house. Unless of course a woman from the NYC cult scene wrote it🥴At the least maybe Michael transcribed it.

We have a letter a young Mike Carr wrote a local Yonkers newspaper when he was like 15 years old. It extolled the virtues of the UN and world government. Despite that crazy thesis, it shows that Mike had some intelligence and that he also liked to write letters.............

That's my whole point, Ace--We weren't even looking into "Son of Sam" when we linked all those murders. You forget Berko and company ever existed, and they're STILL connected. In a very mundane way. MAFIA. No, wait, that's the SECOND way they're connected without any ultimate evils.
Just plain old, garden variety, run of the mill, SOP mafia hits. And a publicity campaign (exactly like Manson, Amityville Horror, etc etc etc) selling the public this idea of some bizarre sex and drug murder cult.
You don't have to prove Maury right. He doesn't have to be right. It's just plain old mafia.
Oh, and CIA-mafia partnerships in narcotics and arms and human trafficking. But, mafia, definitely.

No. I can't speak for SHHS, but in my neighborhood you just paid the money and the kid went to the Catholic School. I know jews who went to Catholic school because the education was supposedly better. But in my experience, Catholic School kids were just as dumb and smart as the average public schooler.
