October 15, 1970, a man calling himself Robert Smith, Jr voluntarily brought a P38 ("Luger") pistol to VPD to be tested against the bullets recovered from the BRS crime. Was this THE Robert Smith, Jr who changed his name to Robert Graysmith, or another Robert Smith, Jr?   |

I don't know, The (th) in Smith on both signatures look similar to me.

Also, look at the S and the R. And btw, his autograph is EXTREMELY RARE.
