Anyone happen to have an idea how old "Big Breasted Wendy" was purported to be at the time? Could this Wendy be WSK, the club kid?
Hey Justice, and welcome to the boards! Good to see new faces posting here and contributing!
I don't know if "Wendy the Witch" and WSK are one in the same (I don't think so) but you may be onto something with the "club" Wendy/WSK being the person written on that chart in the Netflix series.
"WSK" ran with the Studio 54 and Warhol crowd. That would be an area of connections that Maury Terry would have pursued.

Mike, I don't know if there are two "WSKs" out there that were involved in the NY club scene. But, the one I am seeing goes back to the Warhol/Studio 54 days and is based on the name that was shown on the chart in the Netflix doc. She may not have gone by "WSK" in the club scene. "WSK" is her first, middle and last name initials. She may be who the chart is referring to. I don't think she is the "witch"
(Mike, I saw your correction. We were posting /typing at the same time)

I guess like a lot of you,I wasn't expecting any real "earth shattering" new info from this series,so I wasn't really letdown by it.I think for the casual true crime fan it may have sparked some new interest in the case and that's always good. One thing I would say that disappointed me was there was not a real concerted effort to examine the"purge".I realize the Carrs' are always a risk free area for these shows to highlight, but I think they should have bare minimum covered the deaths of Suzette Rodriguez,Carol Marron and Howie Green,as well as Joseph Carozza. That would have been a safe way to strengthen Maurys position, via TUE,that there was indeed an"in-house" cleanup, occurring after the arrest of Berkowitz .I guess that may have been a little too much for the producers of the series. That's what we're trying to do with my video series and hopefully we will be able to dig a lot deeper than they did on Netflix. For the record, I have not seen the doc, but I have spoken to Josh Zeman. He called me to tell me he loves the vids we've been doing.
As far as I'm concerned Zeman is a decent dude who is aware his series will not satisfy the hardcore SOS fans. I don't think his intentions were to satisfy us, but rather to bring the topic up to the newbies. From the uptick of subscribers and viewers of my vids, he is succeeding in getting people interested in the case. This is a good thing and in my opinion we all owe Zeman a debt of gratitude for that.
I am aware that a lot of people on the FB group don't like him and feel like he stole the story away, but to me that is all sour grapes. I'm even getting flack from people on FB making the same sort of accusations about me. There is still a lot of factionalizing amongst the SOS community, with people withdrawing into their respective camps......Process Vs Yonkers. You all know where I stand on that issue, but I totally respect anyone following any path they choose.
But the key here is we need to deal in provable facts and not conjecture or fantasy. It's way hard finding out facts about Lake Ave that I would never venture down the road of trying to find out facts about the nationwide conspiracy angle. But as Carl said in my last vid....Keep digging!

Hey Omega,Yeah I've been looking at the name since the chart was shown and I found 2 interesting people with that name, and got confused,ha ha,not the first or last time for that.I don't know obviously who she is, but IF,that is the correct name ,it would have to be in the direction you were mentioning. By the way ,I sent an email to someone, with my crazy idea of a suspect in Carl's shooting! Its way out there!I was like, this is crazy but here it is ,I was like,"here it is feel free to toss it in the garbage".But I figured no harm ,no foul,it was a guess and it was private! This case is nuts .Or maybe.I am!

Hello, and thanks for the welcome. You just summed up exactly what I was thinking...this is definitely an avenue Maury would have driven down...given the...predilections...of many of the people she associates with...up to the present day. Some of the pics online attached to interviews she's given are a bit eyebrow raising...

I don't have netflix so I'll have to rely on your reviews. Just a quick note because I'm still absorbing it, but I think it's safe to say your walk-and-talks are just as necessary and valuable as ever.
Zeman didn't so much take up the baton as he did cover familiar ground from The Ultimate Evil. The teaser pic of the associates, for example, was a massive blueball.
Hopefully there's more in the podcasts.
I had the same impression...told him on Twitter that it plays as if it's the first 4 parts of a 6 part series, with parts 5 and 6 missing. As someone who enjoyed Cropsey and Killing Season, I was just underwhelmed by this one.

As someone who enjoyed Cropsey and Killing Season, I was just underwhelmed by this one. The people who post on these boards, the ones who are in Carl Denaro's Facebook group, the researchers who Manny deals with on his YouTube series, are not the target audience for this Netflix series.
Those people already have an in-depth knowledge of "The Ultimate Evil" story and have already formed an opinion of what they believe in the story - Process/no Process, Manson I, II or zero, NYC/Yonkers vs. rest of the USA, etc., etc.......
The target for this Netflix series is to get new people interested in the case, buy the book, subscribe to Netflix, etc.
If people get hooked on the story, then it's time to explore the more in-depth worlds.
Remember, we all started off this way when we were first exposed to "The Ultimate Evil" and it was exciting!
However, think back of how overwhelming the story can get, following Maury's path through the maze, when you first started reading "TUE". The pseudonyms alone can drive one nuts!
Netflix and Josh Z. didn't want to overwhelm their target audience. It may be the right move, because that's how Maury lost a lot of readers by making the story too involved to connect the dots.
For the rest of us here, all we can hope for is this new audience catches "the bug" that we all caught with "The Ultimate Evil" and one day joins us here, or somewhere, and wants to contribute and be inquisitive. We shall wait for the day when they ask - "Now, which one was "Danny" and which one "Vinny"?"

I am watching some of part 4 and I gotta say I'm loving it. Yeah, we know these stories already but seriously, the footage of Maury and the extended words of Brother John are worth their weight in gold. I'm really into it. Here's Brother John's HS graduation pic.

That's right. GM was operating the North Tarrytown Assembly back then; it closed in 1996. He connects “Grants” with Sisman in both flowcharts. What the hell is Grants? A bar? Literal grants, as in National Endowment for the Arts? There was a bar in Times Square, Grant's Bar/Grant's Cafeteria, on 42nd and 7th...but it closed in 1974. There was the Grants department store out on Staten Island...and I've seen an ad from them circa early 1970s advertising their "wig bar". I'm inclined to think it refers to something (or someone) else. It would be nice to know when exactly those flowcharts were from...late 70s? 80s? Later on?
