Hey,Jon,just want to tell you how much I enjoyed your book.Ive read it often over the last 4 months, and it's been invaluable to those of us interested in this case. That information on a possible new suspect is definitely intriguing. Can I ask you if any information has come up with William Garvin?what his role in the group actually was? Thanks, and I think you do have the right Reeve Rockman!😀

Sorry, Omega--didn't mean to tease. There's information that I'm not in a position to share, but quite a lot of folks are at work and data comes from many quarters. I do hope that we're inching a little closer to, if not a solution, then at least an understanding of why the crimes were committed and how far back in time the cult's activities might have stretched. Mike, I really appreciate your comment re Reeve Rockman, and I must confess that the extent of Dr. Garvin's role in the group remains largely a mystery to me. I hope to find out more.

Sorry, Omega--didn't mean to tease. There's information that I'm not in a position to share, but quite a lot of folks are at work and data comes from many quarters. No problem Jon, understood.
It's just that we have had 40+ years of people speaking in secrecy and pseudonyms and where we are at, right now, is the time to start getting the real information out there and eliminate the secrecy, exaggerations and conspiracy talk.
I don't know if people have their own agendas/interests to keep info to themselves (books, podcasts, etc.) but, I'm looking for a community to share things with and bounce things off of.
I feel we have a "window of opportunity" right now, that is opening, with all the focus returning to this case ("The Ultimate Evil" re-release, the Josh Z. Netflix series and accompany podcasts, Manny G.'s great walking tour YouTube videos, your outstanding book on the Yonkers history and these here boards, etc.)
I hope we don't waste this opportunity and still don't have any clarity or resolutions in this case in the near future.

I agree, the renewed interest is very encouraging and there seems to be a lot of potential to move things forward. I really hope it happens! I remember how dismal the situation appeared on the fortieth anniversary of Berkowitz's arrest; the media certainly had put Son of Sam to bed, and I worried that the public had lost interest, too. But the last fourteen months or so have been amazing, and this just may be the moment we've been waiting for since the case was reopened in the '90s.

Yeah,Omega I really feel you on this issue, its tough because despite all the cover-ups we've seen over the years, our desire for the simple truth, still drives us.Its beyond frustrating.I do see Jon's point about waiting on some things until hes comfortable revealing them. Its tough,no doubt about it.I thought when TUE first came out we'll get em.nope.How about early 90s,Inside Edition Berkie interviews?I thought now they've gotta set it straight,right?Ah,no.Re-release of TUE,now, maybe? That, would be another no!Yonkers re-opens case in '96 NYPD tags along for a minute, then drops out.Again nothing.Could this be the time finally,?I sure hope so,cause time is flying by and yet it seems like yesterday, that I was walking by wanted posters stapled to telephone poles about the Westchester Dartman,on my way to school.Man,its been a long time.Maybe the time is now.It probably has to be NOW.

Hey everybody.Turning attention back to the suspects.Does anybody have anything to offer on the elusive "Mr.D"?Its been assumed if I'm correct, that he was sort of the co-figurehead of the group, along with Mr.Real Estate. After reading up on Howell, its pretty clear his area of operation was banking, finance. So his alias has always been confusing.I have no doubts he was who Billy the Artist sketched, its too dead-on of a drawing to mistake for anyone else.I believe Terry wrote that one of the leaders had a house in Westchester ,yet we know Howell resided in Riverdale.Did he have another home in Westchester?Could Maury have used some misdirection with the alias, and maybe this"Mr.D",was actually the guy involved in real estate, who lived in Westchester?Kind of making the two of them a composite,or combined suspect to obscure their identities.I dont know, just thinking out loud, lol. So who was "Mr.D"? Thanx for reading.

Hey Ace,saw the same comment ,but its confusing because from what I've gathered from researching it's more likely Walter C. Deyo,jr.,in Arizona, who was a couple of years older than Wheaties. His wife passed in 2013.Maybe that's the"D",we've been looking for.Hopefully, someone can clear this up.

Per "Daedelus" in Manny's "Lake Avenue, the High Schools, and an appeal for information" YT comments section, "Scout" has a first name: Scott.
Scott lives in Arizona.
Also: "His brother Ken Deyo ( who was also a Boy Scout member) is a retired Assistant District Attorney who was active in San Diego."
Yes. We know who scout is. I just wanted to play a little dumb in the video so people would come forward to confirm who he was. I don't think his first name is Scott though. Last name is correct. He's even on the SOS web brain site. His father was a major Boy Scout leader of Troop 12 and I want stories about that guy in particular. Someone groomed "Scout" to be the monster he ended up becoming. Most likely it was his dad. And if his dad did do some offensive acts to his own son, then it was very likely he did it to other boys as well. I'm getting some flak in some quarters for pounding so hard on Lake Ave and the Boy Scouts, but that's just the last gasps of a dying paradigm. Anybody still looking into The Process, imo, is wasting their time when there is so much juicy Yonkers info just waiting to be discovered. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm on this Lake Ave trip hardcore and I need help from the audience big time.

Anybody know whatever happened to the Process Associate Bank Robber Jesse Turner? I herd he tried to cut a deal with the Manhattan D'A's office in regards to the Sisman Platzman murder

This looks like it is going to be a double presentation by Zeman of the airing of both a 4-parts documentary on Netflix and an accompanying 5-parts podcast.
The first podcast that Josh Z. has done can be found here:
I don't know if the format is going to change on the future podcasts that Josh is doing, but I thought the podcasts were going to be a little less scripted and maybe include interviews with guests. Maybe this first podcast episode is to give some historical background and set up the remaining podcasts.
The image that Zeman relays of finally meeting Maury in Maury's apartment in Yonkers, reminded me of the scene in the "Zodiac" movie where Jake Gyllenhaal's character (Robert Graysmith) visits Robert Downey's character (journalist Paul Avery) on Avery's houseboat.

I'm already scribbling down notes and time stamps on the video and I'm only 20 minutes into episode 1!
Maury Terry's high school yearbook picture/info - "Knights of the Altar" all four years..........hmmmmmmmmm.............Yonkers just can't help itself - shrouds everything in mystery, including their extracurricular school activities!
Enjoy the series!

I don't have netflix so I'll have to rely on your reviews. Just a quick note because I'm still absorbing it, but I think it's safe to say your walk-and-talks are just as necessary and valuable as ever.
Zeman didn't so much take up the baton as he did cover familiar ground from The Ultimate Evil. The teaser pic of the associates, for example, was a massive blueball.
Hopefully there's more in the podcasts.
