Norman in Dallas, Detroit, Des Moines, etc. It connects the serial murderers to national and international pedofile rings with a little dash of the Franklin Scandal.
In the North Fox Island episode I shared with you, a victim talked about being trafficked to a Boy Scout/ underprivileged boys farm in Tennessee. In the next episode called "Scouts Honor", there is a detailed description of this foster farm run by a defrocked then reinstated Episcopal priest named Claudius (Bud) Vermilye (https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1291&dat=19770530&id=ZQ9UAAAAIBAJ&sjid=rowDAAAAIBAJ&pg=6224,4898957).
In the same time that North Fox Island is being exposed, so is Boys Farm Inc. in Winchester or Roark Cove TN ( www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1977/06/05/boys-farm-scandal/3db01172-781a-497c-9b8b-9340adcc7155/ ). This is basically in the backyard of Sewanee Seminary (University of the South), less than 20-30 miles.
The Farm was associated with Boy Scout Troop 137 from New Orleans (https://www.fox8live.com/2019/04/25/victim-calls-transparency-after-more-scout-troop-leaders-are-suspected-child-sex-abuse/). The connection of the Farm and North Fox Island was financer Francis Shelden. There were also four other organizations associated with the group. They all dealt with foster and underprivileged youth, specifically boys. One was a school in Coral Gables Florida called Adelphi Academy. Additionally, there was a pedophilic sex travel agency called Adelphi Tours (http://lcweb4.loc.gov/service/ll/pdbs/pdbs13a/PDBS_300_test/00183854112/00000449.txt). The list I mentioned pertained to the Farm. It had over 200 "sponsors" from places as far away as Australia and the Philippines.
This was 1976-77. In 1974, Vermilye's son Bill went missing and was never found (http://lcweb2.loc.gov/service/ll.old/pdbs/pdbs13a/PDBS_300_test/00183854112/00000098.txt). The search wasn't without effort, but it was guided by the local Manchester TN DA General, Charles S Ramsey Jr (http://www.dttspodcast.com/father-bud-aka-claudius-vermilye/ and www.newspapers.com/clip/19435076/vermilye/). I don't know if he's related to John or James Ramsey, but his statements sure seem quick to wrap up the search for the body.

This case was the first major case against the BSA. Additionally, it spurred changing federal laws. Prior to this case, the Mann Act had never been used to prosecute for male victims because it only referred to females(?) The other connection I could imagine, but haven't looked into is that.. this area is definitely in the influence territory of the Dixie Mafia and is in an extremist and vice trafficking part of the country.. not too far from Arkansas.

When Shelden fled the country to escape persecution he left his trust to a darling of the libertarian party and NAMBLA member Adam Starchild (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Starchild: efforts to recover the trust seems like a pretty epic tale)
