Here's an interesting article by Edith Kermit Roosevelt from the Oct. 21 1962 New Hampshire Sunday paper. It's about the U.N. Temple of understanding and the meditation room. It was built by the same people who held "mind control" conferences at wainwright house. It was held by Roland Gammon of the world council of religions......https://archive.org/details/the-temple-of-understanding-by-edith-kermit-roosevelt-the-new-hampshire-sunday-news-october-21-1962

More on Roland Gammon "In the 1950s, Gammon was part of a publicity team in mid-town Manhattan, whose clients included Joseph P. Kennedy and his son, Senator John F. Kennedy. Gammon was president Editorial Communications Inc.[5] He was also past president of the Universalist Church in New York City and dean of its all-faith chapel.[5] Notable contacts in Gammon's life as a writer included Walt Disney[15] and Albert Schweitzer, the latter assisted by Gammon in preparing a statement of his philosophy just weeks before his death in 1965.[16] Near the end of his life he founded World Authors Ltd.[5]"

How about this on the Wainwright House from a 1987 book review in the "Executive Intelligence Review" (Lyndon LaRouche publication) of the original release of "The Ultimate Evil":
"During the period of the Son of Sam cult's activation (1975-76), the strange Carr family ran a telephone answering service from their Yonkers home. One of the clients was a very interesting private psychological clinic in Westchester called the "Hudson River Counseling Service." It involved several Jungian psychologists tied to a center in Rye, New York called the "Guild for Spiritual Awareness," which operates from the former home of Colonel Wainwright. Called the "Wainwright House," this center promotes Jungian studies of pagan and satanic religions for a major Theosophy Lodge based at the United Nations in New York City, the "Lucis Trust." This nexus is connected to a network of bizarre Episcopalian clergy up and down the East Coast working with Canon Edward West and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. Wainwright House was the location of several Lucis meetings of influential persons in the late 1950s and 1960s who founded "Ecumenical associations" that shaped the entire development of the New Age counterculture . Pursuit of this network's possible involvement in the mass-terror operation may prove fruitful."

I knew there had to be a connection somewhere. I knew the Carrs answering service had the UN and the theosophical society. It makes sense that the temple of understanding is just a temple of the theosophical society. Good job finding that!

It's also make sense that Alfred's brother Joseph was a figure in the UN funded ecumenical movement.

The Groton Aquaducts are old hiking trails that connect Tarrytown to Sleepy Hollow, Yonkers and other towns in Westchester. If I remember there have been murders back on those old trails over the years.

Correct James on the Croton Aqueduct. Although, might point out that the Wainwright House is actually in the eastern part of Westchester County (in Rye - not far from the Connecticut border). Tarrytown is in the western part of the county.
Here's a couple of links you might find interesting showing the sights along the Croton Aqueduct (second link shows Untermyer Park and mentions Son of Sam connections)

I got the wainwright house in Rye mixed with the Hilton in Tarrytown. I was checking for seminars held in Westchester over the years. I also seen that the Westchester victim of Rodney Alcala was originally from Hollywood. She would have been 15 or so at the time of the Manson murders. Weird Alcala goes to Westchester and kills someone from the same area he goes to right after the murder. I thought he dumped the body on the old Rockefeller estate, but I've read he buried it which would obviously take quite some time.

Ironically, she went missing in New York City on July 15th, just two weeks before the Stacy Moskowitz murder/Robert Violante shootings in Brooklyn (July 31st)
Her remains (bones) were found on the Rockefeller estate grounds in Westchester around June 1978.

I believe Alcala ran in those same circles of people. He's in NY attending Polanskis film classes, murders a woman, then goes back to Hollywood in time for his appearance on the dating game. I also believe the Hillside Stranglers were involved with the same people as well. Bianchi was the #1 suspect in the Rochester alphabet murders until a guy was caught doing similar types of killings elsewhere. The occult circles in NY were a tight knit community. Levenda says he frequented the same occult book shop as the Process, and knew members of the cult. He claims a lot of unbelievable shit though lol. Levenda is either lying or he's on the inside. He places himself in a lot of places, and claims to know a lot of people that are linked from the JFK murder all the way to SOS. He claims he was caught taking pictures at the Nazi ran Colonia Dignidad where they ran torture chambers. What's interesting about that is "the murder on embassy row" in Washington DC was done by a guy with intelligence ties here in the US, and he also conducted torttures at Colonia Dignidad.

I had an acquaintance who worked at the Magickal Childe, and he said that Levenda definitely hung out there. He remembers Levenda as a very divisive influence, however. (Unfortunately he didn't elaborate on this point.)

Uh, James, you know you can "edit" your posts, right? It's no biggie, but...
The Wainwright building here in St Louis was the world's first "skyscraper." The architect Louis Sullivan also designed Ellis Wainwright's magnificent tomb out at Bellefontaine Cemetery. I wonder if the Wainwright House you're talking about is linked? Ellis Wainwright's father founded a brewing dynasty that Ellis expanded on, then branched out into railroads and securities.
Rodney Alcala (Rodrigo Alcala-Buquor) spent a LOT of time at the Rockefeller Estate Park. He photographed a lot of people there, including ones he didn't kill.

Chelsea area NYC - also the area of the Ron Sisman/Elizabeth Platzman murders on Halloween 1981. Hmmmm......
