If memory serves,Glassman lived a floor below Berkowitz in an apartment building.David had some issues with Glassman and once started some 22 shells on fire in front of Glassman's door hoping for them to go off.He also had some problems, real or imaginary with a couple who I believe were the caretakers in a building where David lived.And then of course later, the Carrs.This shows David's problems with mental illness and schizophrenia.Things like this,I believe,point more to David acting alone in the Son of Sam killings.That being said, there remain some questions to be answered.The different descriptions and the yellow vw seen at many crime scenes.Did Berkowitz ever own or have access to a yellow VW?We know when he was apprehended he had a creme colored Ford Galaxie.Interesting stuff.

When David was arrested, its been said that John Carr shit himself a little. I would take this to mean John was probably involved but not in any leadership or decision making capacity. He wasn't happy to see David take the fall, which is interesting because Berkowitz didn't like John, by his own account.

Yes I'm sure if John was involved he did shit himself a little when Berkowitz was arrested even though rationally one would have to know the authorities were eventually going to catch somebody whether it be a lone gunman or one of the gunman.

Saw that user id "craigglassmanskid" pop up last week as a new user and was wondering if there was a connection.
You may find this other thread "interesting" on your dad (remember, this is still the internet!)
Your dad also shows up in a couple of scenes in the new Netflix series on "The Ultimate Evil"/Son of Sam. Have you read Maury Terry's book and what is your opinion on the narrative of the story - Berkowitz, lone killer? Yonkers cult? etc.

If you really are Shayna, I don't suppose you have a death certificate for Craig? I'll pay all the fees if you get one. I'll say it point-blank--I have quite a bit of experience tracking down people who faked their own death, and I believe I have found "the" Craig Glassman who lived in the same building with Berkowitz living walking distance from Berkowitz's adopted dad in Florida. He not only looks EXACTLY like "the" Craig Glassman, including THE EXACT SAME GLASSES, but I traced him from suburban New York all the way to mr Berkowitz's neighborhood soon after "the" Craig Glassman "died."
Could I be wrong? Sure. But, proving me wrong is very, very easy. You can fake a death in the newspapers. You can pay for phony obituaries. You--or another relative--can file a CLAIM for Social Security Death Benefits. Whether that claim was paid or not, the date of the CLAIM being filed stays in the SS "Death Index." That actually "proves" nothing. That's all very easy, SOP, and back then, still pretty effective.
What you CAN'T do is buy a fake death certificate. So, if you mail--not email, I want the paper in my hand--me a certified copy of Craig Glassman's death certificate, then we'll KNOW he's not only merely "dead," but really, most sincerely, dead. And IF he is dead, then there is zero harm in getting me a certified copy of his death certificate. If you really are his daughter, and if he really is dead. And I'll reimburse all the necessary fees and postage.
His involvement with Berkowitz is just way, way too fishy. And his "death" is way, way, too convenient. And the guy I found is way, way too identical. Not just his face. His whole life records.
IF you really are his daughter, and IF he really is dead.

Good to see you posting again, here on the boards, after a hiatus! Final exams are probably over and I guess the "Summer of Horan" is soon to be upon us! It should be interesting!
BTW Professor, unless it was posted in other circles and I missed it, I don't think Carl Denaro mentioned you by name or your podcast in that whole "Frank Denaro" thing in Manny's YouTube video. Yes, for the "Disciples of Horan" (I think there are more than 22!) it was known what Carl was alluding to, when he brought it up in the video, but I don't think you were mentioned directly or specifically. Hope things smooth out. We need info to come from all points in the universe right now!

Well, well, well. I've said if for over a year--Craig Glassman faked his death. Shayna has posted on here twice, and twice, I've asked her for a certified copy of a death certificate. No reply. This week, after long Covid delay, I finally got an official reply from New York--"no such document on file." NO DEATH CERTIFICATE for Craig Glassman. Just. Like. I. Said.
Somebody ask Shayna just what the fuck is going on. She's in on it, whatever it is. Why else visit Berkowitz? Only ONE explanation--she's a GO-BETWEEN. Glassman to Berkowitz and back.

These cleft assholes claim to be able to raise the dead. Well, kids, I just DID raise the dead. What does that make me?
