Auction results for the Berkowitz letters to Dee Channel are showing envelopes addressed to the following locations: 1979 - Medford, Oregon 1980 - Las Vegas,Nevada 1990s- Baton Rouge, LA Ironically (or not) there is a real estate site with a picture/info in Baton Rouge, but a website connection with her name seems to be no longer active (if it is the same Dee) www.hyaenagallery.com/truecrime/berkowitzbook.html

The whole laurel canyon and hippie scene seems to have been one giant experiment. Most, if not all the bands that first came out of that scene had at least one member who's parents were military intelligence. It served a lot of purposes as all government experiments do. It co-opted the peace movement, and it helped bring in the Crowley/Rosicrucian aeon of Horus. One of the mottos of Rosicrucianism is "solve et coagula". It's the breaking down and building up of the person in terms of initiation, and mold that person in their image. It can also be done on society al a whole, through fear, sex, drugs, and other debaucheries. I look at the 60s and early 70s as the initiation of the American society. I use to think that the occult was used as only a front to hide other nefarious things. It is don't get me wrong, but I also found out that the ones who instigate these things believe in what they're saying and doing 100%. "Most, if not all the bands that first came out of that scene had at least one member who's parents were military intelligence". Dave McGowan was obsessed with observing that, so many famous counter-culture and pop culture persona of 1960s-1980s era, had "at least one parent" in some branch of American military service or a related field, such as Intelligence. What a shocking revelation! Not. The Boomers were, after all, primarily the baby boom of millions of Americans who had been in American military service or related fields, during WW2! What's truly shocking to me, is that anyone buys there being some relevance to that fact.

I heard you wrong. Some of her stories are wild, but yet people like Alex Constantine has proven a lot of what she said to be true. The Linkletter story was one she was told by a "friend", so you are right on that as there is no evidence to support it. If Vance did go to school him I it would have been something to look further into, but I heard it wrong. I apologize. Mark Ross (Aesop Aquarian) was Mark Ross in High School. I found a 1960 yearbook for his school, Desert Sun School in Idyllwild, CA. He was a sophmore that year. He's listed as Mark Ross in photos and the directory. So if Mark Ross had a name change... it was BEFORE he went to High School.

Hmmmmm...he also went by Mark Rosen. And other names. He [his parents?] owned the beach house in Venice where the Family stayed from time to time (and where Zero got his hat ventilated with Crazy Patty in attendance) and probably the Yellow Submarine house in Canoga Park to boot (and probably arranged the Spahn Ranch deal, as well.)
So, Mark Ross is his real name...I don't suppose you'd care to scan that yearbook? Thanks!
