Berkowitz, through "his" letters and other hints, has always implicated John and Michael Carr, the real-life Sons of Sam (Carr,) in complicity in the .44 Caliber Murders. Their sister, Wheat Carr, worked as a police dispatcher in Yonkers, the town where Berkowitz last resided. John Carr supposedly died by a gunshot wound that destroyed his face, in the on-base apartment of his married girlfriend at the Minot, North Dakota air force base. Was it murder? Suicide? A murder staged to look like a suicide? A suicide staged to look like a murder? Was it even John?
Michael Carr, a rapidly-rising Scientologist, died in a car wreck on the west side of Manhattan a few months later. Dead men tell no tales. What tales did the Carr brothers have to tell?

John Paul Ranieri is alleged to have claimed; that he and three other High School freshmen were "raped in" by John Carr, to whatever quasi-satanic 'club' Carr was claiming to be the leader of.
And so...if Maury Terry happened to be one of the other three (unnamed) freshmen? Would we have a sufficient motive, for Maury Terry to dedicate himself to assisting Berky in his quest to implicate the Carr family in his .44 caliber crimes? Why, yes, I believe we would!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............that might "explain" why Maury "didn't remember" John Carr.........And since you bring it up, just how well did Maury know some of these other guys? And just how did he get some of his information about this Yonkers cult? His whole story about how he first got interested in the case just doesn't smell right. Just like Graysmith. Just like Hodel.
And he bases SO MUCH of his book on two "anonymous" sources, "Vinny" and "Danny." That's funny, because, there doesn't seem to be much of any place for "Vinny and Danny" to fit into the story, for them to be TELLING the story. I mean, how hard would it be for this cult to figure out who Vinny and Danny are? And get to them, the way they got to Berko that one time? I mean, just because we can't figure out who they are, how many members of this cult could possibly be locked up that the rest of them couldn't deduce very quickly who they are?

As I will be discussing in great detail this Saturday, it turns out that Craig Glassman is NOT dead (well, he may be dead by now, but he did NOT "die" in a car crash on Halloween night 1991.) And it's rrrreeeeaaallll funny Maury never found that out. It was super easy to do. As you shall see Saturday (July 17, 2021)
I'm sure SOME of these "people" belonged to some kind of "cult." But, it's becoming more and more obvious that this "cult" was NOT the criminal organization behind these murders. That was apparently the mafia and their buddies in the CIA and NYPD. The "cult" seems to have been played up as a red herring, a cover, a disinfo campaign. With Maury playing either flak, or dupe. Or both.

The Carrs are entirely innocent, a much maligned family of innocents who were attacked and forever abused by the schizophrenic ravings of a madman...at least, that's what Manny's super-duper, intrepid investigator Neo says...
