Well, in all fairness, "science" STARTED as "Hermetic studies." Astrology became Astronomy; Numerology became Mathematics; Alchemy became Chemistry; Magick became Physics. The whole entire idea of "Natural Philosophy," of deducing the Laws of Nature by direct observation and experimentation, was considered black magic until it launched the Mechanical Age. Newton's theory of universal gravitation is nothing but a detailed description of an occult ("hidden or invisible") force acting a distance. It was considered witchcraft at best, until Halley used it to predict with great precision the return of what is now known as Halley's Comet (he wanted to call it Newton's comet.) If it's "arcane" gobbledegook you're looking for, take a gander at Einsteins eight field equations describing gravity.
So, what? "We hold these truths to be self-evident..." is a direct appeal to Natural Law. The American Republic is steeped in Masonic/Rosicrucian ideas. The "Puritans" and "Pilgrims" were not the only ones trying to build their Utopia in the New World. MOST of the English and Dutch colonists in New England were Freemasons who came to America (and other European colonies) to build their Masonic Republic. Columbus was an early Freemason. He even signed his name with a "sigil." He had gained access to navigation data and other hard information from Templar/Masons living in North Africa, Portugal, and the northern British Isles. He took an ARAB translator with him who "learned" the Arawak and Carib languages overnight. He knew exactly where he was going, and exactly how long it would take to get there. He just deluded himself (or others, at least) about what the destination was. In fact, he was something of a medieval Scientologist--an out and out fraud who used "hermetic" wisdom to bilk rich assholes out of their money.

Crowley believed this "force" emanated from the Dog Star Sirius. That's why in the Son of Sam case you see all the references to the dog. The talking dog, the charter arms 44 bulldog, etc. it's linked to Manson and his ideas of Lycanthropy as well. It's why Nicholas Schreck named his band after the werewolf. You have ozzy osbourne barking at the moon lol. The Dog Star was known as the star of Set. Also Berkowitz was arrested olong with the rising of the Dog Star. These things were luciferian rituals in all honesty. They had more than one motive behind them.

Yeah Cass went to high school with Jim Morrison in Virgina. I believe it was a school for military brats. Anyways I agree with the idea the 1960s counterculture was created with ideas of Aleister Crowley in mind. Too many similarities between his ideas and the new age counterculture, like free love, it's your thing do what you wanna do (do as thou wilt), all is one, man is god etc. most of those are freemasonic doctrines as well. The official freemasonic magazine used to be called new age magazine.
What I've also found interesting is occult concepts creeping into "science" as well. I've stated the ideas of Alfred Howell in his book, and how they relate to theosophy. The whole idea of merging occult ideas with physics was introduced by Vera Stanley Adler, whom Alfred Howell echoes, but with a more "scientific" vocabulary. I've also mentioned Harmann of Stanford research who promoted the same ideas. None of its science, or something that can be proven and demonstrated. It all starts with the Hermetic idea of the ankh which was circled in a photo above. It represent the masculine and feminine aspect of their (architect). They also claim it represents the dual aspect of man (as above do below). In essence they believe this "force" is lucifer, or the positive/negative meaning electricity. Howell claims in his book the "Deus Universalis" is where man gets the force (electricity) to run the human mind. It's where the term "fire in the minds of men" originates. It's the "divine spark" in all living creatures, and also all matter in general. It's this "divine spark" that everyone of us have in common, and that unites us with the all (the Greek god Pan). It's nothing but Pantheism. The "fire in the minds of men" is what makes man divine, or just the human mind by itself. This is the religion of freemasonry, science, theosophy, Hinduism, Christian Science, Mormonism etc. they also relate this positive/negative force with electro magnetism, which is light. That's why you hear them refer to "the light" constantly. All that to say it's just a "scientific" explanation for the gnostic teaching of "the world soul" crazy shit huh?

Dmac has released some statements by Vernal Mullen. Vernal said they came to the foster home around 4:30pm and left around 6:00pm. Vernal said he had an argument with Dana over setting the table. If the boys were at the Dorris home for an hour and half, around dinner time, did they eat dinner there? I know it doesn't really matter but Karis and I have always wondered how they went all that time with no food.

Yea thanks! I'm not saying I think any of the Meeks were involved either, but for some reason they felt the need to throw Marty under the bus quickly, and take Marilyn in so that they could brainwash her too.
In a lot of old cases people's stories change over the years due to new information that comes out - but if this is not their own memories they need to make that clear. In the video Sheila said that she didn't know Marty but she hadn't lived in Keddie as long as her family. She said Marty didn't like Johnny (but he made the friend list) and that her mom was friends with Marilyn (but she didn't make the friend list) and most of her comments were like Justin's - "That's what I heard".
I'm thinking this video was from 2015 because we were on Dmac's forum and he told us to check it out because I guess he'd just discovered it. Isn't it strange that by 2015 (11 years of all this info being brought to light and after her participation on the documentaries) she didn't even really know how to pronounce the last name of one of the men who supposedly murdered her family?
She said that she thought the case was botched but has she ever once considered that she and her friends were the very ones who helped botch the case? If we do then certainly she does because she knows what she told and she knows what the Meeks told her
She also said over the years, while living with her Aunt and foster family, the police would call and ask her questions but that was about it. The "friend list" was obviously something the police had called and asked about because it says on the bottom: received 5-19-1981 from Sheila Sharp - and by then she had been living in Oregon for about a month. I'm guessing the police were as stunned when they read this in 1981 as I am reading it today.

Thanks hope! I could not remember the name of that blog. I can't remember if they believed her or not.
You are right there were alot of good post on that sight. I don't understand why more people do not come on and tell what they know. Well at the time there was probably only one forum, and you know what happens when you post anything that is not agreed with!

Yes, she was at a Barry Manilow concert!!! I forget the name of that channel but can find it & will take a look to see that video is available or not. The host had a "remote viewer" on for that specific episode. I remember the host later said that video was taken down because Dmac hit her with a copyright strike over some photos she used in it. She claimed they were photos she had taken (or maybe photos that originally belonged to Josh), however, I don't think she ever got that video back up. I will let you know what I find out after checking YouTube. And thank you so much I will definitely stick around and start contributing more. I should have added to the post above, I dont necessarily think mama was involved (maybe, who knows?) But get the feeling she was maybe concerned someone close to her was involved and Marty was her way of swaying suspicion away from whatever that concern of hers was...jmo of course

Lord knows she needed spell check (which I'm grateful for). I remember when we first joined Dmac's forum we told him we read in an old post that Glenna said Justin had "browned" Walters boots (we thought he had shined Walters boots for him) he had to tell us she meant "borrowed".

Thank you so much for that post. I could not remember if it was in her book (which Karis has) or the paranormal video but I tried so hard to find that video of her phone interview while she was at a Barry Manilow concert (and you think the video has been taken off?) - thanks for letting me know we're not crazy and that Sheila did say she didn't know Marty (except for the breaking the hand comment - which came straight from Marilyn).
Please keep posting any thoughts you have as we all get along very well on this forum and everyone always brings something forgotten or never thought of in each post.

Hi Karis! Regarding Shelley Barker, the site that comment was posted on was Bonnie's Life of Crime mylifeofcrime.wordpress.com/2006/01/14/keddie-murders-41181/ I always wondered if anyone ever reached out to her. It would have been nice to hear from a friend of Tina's as there is so little information on her. There are a lot of interesting comments on that site, including the ones discussing the hidden crawl space within the basement of 28. And the person who said they were at the keddie bar/restaurant that night and didnt see anything unusual, besides 2 men and a woman dressed in fancy clothing. It would have been interesting to hear more from that person as well.

Hello all! First time posting but I've been a long time lurker to all the keddie forums. Kmik, I agree with you completely. I also do not know who committed this crime, but have always felt the Meeks were the ones pushing the Marty & Bo narrative. I too felt mama was trying to deflect attention to Marty & Bo. It seemed to me that she put that thought into Marilyn's head to deflect from whatever it is she was trying to hide (I have considered each thing you mentioned). Im sure Marilyn probably did mention she was scared to stay in Keddie, who wouldn't be? But mama probably instigated any suspicions Marilyn had.
Mama did quite a few things that never sat right with me. Starting with the morning of the murders, I always found it so strange that after finding out what happened she didn't stop to check on the kids of her "best friend" and lend them some much needed support. By her own admission she was in Keddie picking up Marilyn but couldnt take a minute to see Sheila, Rick and Greg? Then to supposedly let Marty stay at her home while disliking & fearing him? You'd think she would be more concerned with any help she could provide the Sharp kids. Also, the way she never seemed to share any real, sincere memories, just the same "gotta get back to keddie" story over and over again. The way she would insist all her kids were home that night and the comment she made about how Richard (& Walter?) were supposed to stay over 28 that night but changed their mind. Didnt she say another time that Richard told her to say no because Dana was "acting strange" and he didnt want to be around him? And as you mentioned, she never spoke up to say Phillip was her nephew when his name came up on the old forums. All very strange behavior imo.
And, Sheila adding Marty & Bo to these lists is definitely mind blowing! It does seem to point more towards the influence people had over her. As a side note, I remember years ago watching a youtube video from a paranormal channel discussing keddie, they interviewed Sheila over the phone and she seemed to know very little about Marty other than he was a neighbor & disliked Johnny (just the stuff Marilyn & Mama had said on the old forum). I believe that video has since been removed because it was hit with a copyright strike. Sheila has definitely always been very evasive with her answers to questions, she always seems to not remember much which is also strange imo.
Also, just wanted to say thank you all for this forum. It is great to have a place where people can openly discuss their thoughts. You guys have helped me a lot with sorting out info from the timeline, connecting lesser known players, etc. Keep up the good work, I love reading your posts and hearing your guys thoughts!

The last fella Bowers was involved with a right wing call in radio show. I believe it claimed he was responsible for cataloging their audio on the Internet or something of the like.
