I was re-reading the Chuck & Henry thread on here (a lot of good info there worth revisiting!) & saw jmo had previously posted another one of Racerkey's posts there (thanks jmo!). Figured I would copy & paste it here to go with the other posts of his/hers. It is quite interesting & discusses the true history of Camp 18 & Feather Falls:
"As a clarification to the True history of Camp 18. Not a Boy Scout camp. Not a Campground. Its relationship to Feather Falls and Camp One. Previous to the town and Mill of Feather Falls, the Hutchinson Lumber Co. was founded in 1922 and logged that entire area of the Sierra first by oxen and skid roads and then by Railway to run the logs to the Hutchinson Mill at Oroville. A network of railways was in place for the transport of the raw logs. The Quincy-La Porte Rd was the old rail-bed for the railway as were many of the road networks above Feather Falls. The town of Feather Falls developed on Lumpkin Ridge as Feather River Pine Mills Inc. circa 1940 after the Hutchinson Mill in Oroville burned down. Earlier, logging was done farther up the mountain and logging camps were established. These tent towns were improved with shacks as the logging spread out and were used as hubs to house and feed the workers. Known as skid towns, because the logs were skidded on skid roads and the cheap shacks were built on skids so they could be moved to the next location. The Main mill was huge at the Feather Falls site. The actual Feather Falls (waterfall, 410' high) is approx 4-7 miles north and the original name of the town of Feather Falls was Mooretown, after its founder John S. Moore. Camp 18 was a logging camp named as such because it was 18 miles by skid road above the mill. Likewise Camp One. As the area became logged-out, Camp 18 was MOVED by skidding the buildings down to the Mill Site of Feather Falls town as well as the buildings of Camp One, mostly simple 2-3 room single-wall but well-built "shacks". These migrated buildings were then reassembled, put on pier foundations, refurbished with yards, interiors, some garages, fencing, and all received the standard coat of barn red on their board and bat exteriors. The interiors were all paneled with knotty pine and shellac. The housing and community for the mill-workers occupied the opposite side of Lumpkin Rd. from the Mill-site. Included at the new company town was a Large rec hall-auditorium, a separate office building for management, a library, Company store, Post office, Gas station with a hoist, Fire station, church, large sports field w a baseball diamond, an apple "test" orchard, laid out gravel streets, and an elementary school that is still operating, a small hospital consisting of a very large house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, large front room with brick fireplace, and knotty-pine interior paneling throughout, and a large yard. I rented that house for $40 mo. in Jan.1970. My first daughter was born there as a home birth in February. The previous resident was the famous head shop owner Bill Miller, who ran for Mayor of Berkeley in '67, and ran the Steppenwolf Bar on San Pablo. The mill ceased operations in approx '66. It was up for sale by the owner, Georgia-Pacific, later to become Louisiana-Pacific. During my stay there, the mill was being torn down but the town remained and the houses rented for $30-40/mo. The secret was, many Berkeley and Bay-area folks were spilling out into the rural areas at that time and they migrated to many of these small mountain towns such as Feather Falls, Brownsville, and Forbestown. the railway was abandoned and torn out above the new mill site and they became Forest Service roads and used for logging operations by remote crews and the logs transported by trucks down the mountain into Oroville. So, Feather Falls was comprised of the reincarnated Camp 1 and Camp 18 structures, the sites becoming nothing but razed patches after the town was moved down the mountain. That explains the bottle dump, the barren ground referred to as Camp 18, and the reason for the existence of the town of Feather Falls, since bulldozed completely in approx '96. I have returned to the site since and walked atop the old concrete slabs and remaining memories and stood on the old gas station, the store, and phone booth pads. So Camp 18 is not a camp. It is a reference point. A wide spot in the road. No standing bit of history existed there in '70 or today. That is why I questioned the ability of the perps to place the Tina remains there. No one knows anything about it. It is near the FS road that runs up to Little Grass Valley Reservoir(no relation to Grass Valley), Hartmann Bar(no bar), Fall River Crossing, Golden Trout Crossing, and Walters mine. But the connection does exist for the perps I identify as murderers Steven Howard and Gary Mollath because of the La Porte Rd. to Meadow Valley FS Rd. and its turnoff to Feather Falls and its bypass of the old site of Camp 18. Gary Mollath would not know of the area but Steven Howard would due to his knowledge of the back road from La Porte, his dumping of the remains of his sister Kathy along that route, his drug hookup with Mollath at the other end of the La Porte Rd at MV and Quincy to Keddie, their sighting together in Mollath's Green '55 Chevy p.u. in Keddie before the murders, the murders committed by each separately, (Kathy, Lynette) and together (Sharps), both, and therefore, the abduction of Tina Sharp back towards the La Porte Rd., their immediate disappearance from Keddie, and Howard's reported freakout after the news bulletin, rushing out of the house with a previously hidden duffel bag, and therefore to the same dumping ground route over back roads to Camp 18. These are the only two characters that fit the bill. Behold! Camp 18."

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Forget the death penalty. Sentence your worst offenders to sharing a cell with Charles Manson or David Berkowitz.

I think it's interesting that a "Michael Berg" was formally charged (after some delay) with a felony on the same court docket that the Dossenkos' pleas were accepted. That is very, very rarely a coincidence.

Understanding The Tri-Fold Nature Of The Deep State
Authored by Matthew Ehret via The Strategic Culture Foundation,
Not that long ago the United States came close to total dissolution.
The financial system was bankrupt, speculation had run amok, and all infrastructure had fallen into disarray over the course of 30 years of unbroken free trade. To make matters worse, the nation was on the verge of a civil war and international financiers in London and Wall Street gloated over the immanent destruction of the first nation on earth to be established not upon hereditary institutions, but rather on the consent of the governed and mandated to serve the general welfare.
Although one might think that I am referring now to today’s America, I am in fact referring to the United States of 1860.
The Trifold Deep State In my past two articles in this series, I discussed how a new system of political economy was established by Benjamin Franklin and his disciples in the wake of the war of independence driven by protectionism, national banking and internal improvements.
I also demonstrated that the rise of the thing known as today’s “deep state” can also be understood as a three-headed beast which arose in its earliest incarnation under the leadership of arch traitor Aaron Burr who established Wall Street, killed Alexander Hamilton and devoted his life to the cause of dissolving the union. After having been caught in the act of sabotage, Burr escaped arrest in 1807 by running off to England where he live in Jeremy Bentham’s mansion for 5 years, only to return to oversee a new plot to break up the union that eventually boiled over in 1860.
The three prongs of the operation that Burr led on behalf of British intelligence and which remains active to this very day, can loosely be described as follows:
The Anglo-Canadian establishment that arose in the wake of the “United Empire Loyalists” who left the rebelling colonies in 1776 to found English speaking Canada and who were soon labelled as the “Family Compact” by republican revolutionary William Lyon Mackenzie and which ultimately managed the eventual creation of the Rhodes Trust under George Parkin and his heirs.
The Eastern Establishment families sometimes known as the Essex Junto who took control of Hamilton’s Federalist Party. These were Empire Loyalists who remained within the USA under the illusion of loyalty to the constitution, but always adherent to a British Imperial world order and devoted to eventually undermining it from within. These were the circles that brought the USA into Britain’s Opium trade against China as junior partners in crime and who promoted the dissolution of the union as early as 1800 under the leadership of Aaron Burr.
The “Virginia Junto”, slave owning aristocracy which also worked with Aaron Burr in his 1807 secessionist plot and whose alliance with the British Empire was instrumental in its rise to power from 1828-1860. This was the structure that soon returned to power, after the civil war, under the guiding hand of such Mazzini-connected “Young Americans” as KKK founder Albert Pike and the Southern establishment that later executed nationalist presidents in 1880, 1901 and in 1963.
Some Uncomfortable Questions The story has been told of Lincoln’s murder in tens of thousands of books and yet more often than not the narrative of a “single lone gunman” is imposed onto the story by researchers who are either too lazy or too corrupt to look for the evidence of a larger plot.
How many of those popular narratives infused into the western zeitgeist over the decades even acknowledge the simple fact that John Wilkes Boothe was carrying a $500 bank draft signed by Ontario Bank of Montreal President Henry Starnes (later to become Montreal Mayor) when he was shot dead at Garrett Farm on April 26, 1865?
How many people have been exposed to the vast Southern Confederacy secret service operations active throughout the civil war in Montreal, Toronto and Halifax which was under the firm control of Confederate Secretary of State Judah Benjamin and his handlers in British intelligence?
How many people know that Boothe spent at least 5 weeks in the fall of 1864 in Montreal associating closely with the highest echelons of British and Southern intelligence including Starnes, and confederate spy leaders Jacob Thompson and George Sanders?
Demonstrating his total ignorance of the process that controlled him, Booth wrote to a friend on October 28, 1864:
“I have been in Montreal for the last 3 or 4 weeks and no one (not even myself) knew when I would return”.
On The Trail of the Assassins After Lincoln was murdered, a manhunt to track down the intelligence networks behind the assassination was underway that eventually led to the hanging of four low level co-conspirators who history has shown were just as much patsies as John Wilkes Boothe.
Days later, President Johnson issued a proclamation saying:
“It appears from evidence in the Bureau of Military Justice that the … murder of … Abraham Lincoln … [was] incited, concerted, and procured by and between Jefferson Davis, late of Richmond, Va., and Jacob Thompson, Clement C. Clay, [Nathaniel] Beverly Tucker, George N. Sanders, William C. Cleary, and other rebels and traitors against the government of the United States harbored in Canada.”
Two days before Booth was shot, Secretary of War Edwin Stanton wrote:
“This Department has information that the President’s murder was organized in Canada and approved at Richmond.”
Knowledge of Canada’s confederate operations was well known to the federal authorities in those days even though the majority among leading historians today are totally ignorant of this fact.
George Sanders remains one of the most interesting figures among Booth’s handlers in Canada. As a former Ambassador to England under the presidency of Franklin Pierce (1853-1857), Sanders was a close friend of international anarchist Giuseppe Mazzini – the founder of the Young Europe movement. Sanders who wrote “Mazzini and Young Europe” in 1852, had the honor of being a leading member of the southern branch of the Young America Movement (while Ralph Waldo Emerson was a self-proclaimed leader of the northern branch of Young America). Jacob Thompson, who was named in the Johnson dispatch above, was a former Secretary of the Interior under President Pierce, handler of Booth and acted as the top controller of the Confederacy secret service in Montreal.
As the book Montreal City of Secrets (2017), author Barry Sheehy proves that not only was Canada the core of Confederate Secret Services, but also coordinated a multi pronged war from the emerging “northern confederacy” onto Lincoln’s defense of the union alongside Wall Street bankers while the president was fighting militarily to stop the southern secession. Sheehy writes:
“By 1863, the Confederate Secret Service was well entrenched in Canada. Funding came from Richmond via couriers and was supplemented by profits from blockade running.”
The Many Shapes of War from the North Although not having devolved to direct military engagement, the Anglo-Canadian war on the Union involved several components:
Financial warfare: The major Canadian banks dominant in the 19th century were used not only by the confederacy to pay British operations in the construction of war ships, but also to receive much needed infusions of cash from British Financiers throughout the war. A financial war on Lincoln’s greenback was waged under the control of Montreal based confederate bankers John Porterfield and George Payne and also JP Morgan to “short” the greenback.
By 1864, the subversive traitor Salmon Chase had managed to tie the greenback to a (London controlled) gold standard thus making its value hinge upon gold speculation. During a vital moment of the war, these financiers coordinated a mass “sell off” of gold to London driving up the price of gold and collapsing the value of the U.S. dollar crippling Lincoln’s ability to fund the war effort.
Direct Military intervention Thwarted: As early as 1861, the Trent Crisis nearly induced a hot war with Britain when a union ship intervened onto a British ship in international waters and arrested two high level confederate agents en route to London. Knowing that a two-fold war at this early stage was unwinnable, Lincoln pushed back against hot heads within his own cabinet who argued for a second front saying “one war at a time”. Despite this near miss, London wasted no time deploying over 10 000 soldiers to Canada for the duration of the war ready to strike down upon the Union at a moment’s notice and kept at bay in large measure due to the bold intervention of the Russian fleet to both Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the USA. This was a clear message to both England and to Napoleon III’s France (who were stationed across the Mexican border) to stay out of America’s war.
Despite Russia’s intervention, Britain continued to build warships for the Confederacy which devastated the Union navy during the war and which England had to pay $15.5 million to the USA in 1872 under the Alabama Claims.
Terrorism: It is less well known today than it was during the 19th century that confederate terror operations onto the north occurred throughout the civil war with raids on Union POW camps, efforts to burn popular New York hotels, blowing up ships on the Mississippi, and the infamous St Albans raid of October 1864 on Vermont and attacks on Buffalo, Chicago, Sandusky, Ohio, Detroit, and Pennsylvania. While the St Albans raiders were momentarily arrested in Montreal, they were soon released under the logic that they represented a “sovereign state” at conflict with another “sovereign state” with no connection with Canada (perhaps a lesson can be learned here for Meng Wanzhou’s lawyers?).
Assassination: I already mentioned that a $550 note was found on Boothe’s body with the signature of Ontario Bank president Henry Starnes which the failed actor would have received during his October 1864 stay in Montreal. What I did not mention is that Booth stayed at the St Lawrence Hall Hotel which served as primary headquarters for the Confederacy from 1863-65. Describing the collusion of Northern Copperheads, anti-Lincoln republicans, and Wall Street agents, Sheehy writes: “All of these powerful northerners were at St. Lawrence Hall rubbing elbows with the Confederates who used the hotel as an unofficial Headquarters. This was the universe in which John Wilkes Booth circulated in Canada.”
In a 2014 expose, historian Anton Chaitkin, points out that the money used by Boothe came directly from a $31,507.97 transfer from London arranged by the head of European confederate secret service chief James D. Bulloch. It is no coincidence that Bulloch happens to also be the beloved uncle and mentor of the same Teddy Roosevelt who became the president over the dead body of Lincoln-follower William McKinley (assassinated in 1901).
In his expose, Chaitkin wrote:
Your email... “James D. Bulloch was the maternal uncle, model and strategy-teacher to future U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt. He emerged from the shadows of the Civil War when his nephew Teddy helped him to organize his papers and to publish a sanitized version of events in his 1883 memoir, The Secret Service of the Confederate States in Europe. Under the protection of imperial oligarchs such as Lord Salisbury and other Cecil family members, working in tandem with Britain’s military occupation of its then-colony Canada, Bulloch arranged English construction and crewing for Confederate warships that notoriously preyed upon American commerce.”
The Truth is Buried Under the Sands of History While four low level members of Booth’s cell were hanged on July 7, 1865 after a four month show trial (1), the actual orchestrators of Lincoln’s assassination were never brought to justice with nearly every leading member of the confederate leadership having escaped to England in the wake of Lincoln’s murder. Even John Surrat (who was among the eight who faced trial) avoided hanging when his case was dropped, and his $25 000 bail was mysteriously paid by an anonymous benefactor unknown to this day. After this, Surrat escaped to London where the U.S. Consuls demands for his arrest were ignored by British authorities.
Confederate spymaster Judah Benjamin escaped arrest and lived out his days as a Barrister in England, and Confederate President Jefferson Davies speaking to adoring fans in Quebec in June 1867 encouraged the people to reject the spread of republicanism and instead embrace the new British Confederation scheme that would soon be imposed weeks later. Davies spoke to the Canadian band performing Dixie at the Royal Theater: “I hope that you will hold fast to their British principles and that you may ever strive to cultivate close and affectionate connections with the mother country”.
With the loss of Lincoln, and the 1868 death of Thaddeus Stevens, Confederate General Albert Pike established restoration of the southern oligarchy and sabotage of Lincoln’s restoration with the rise of the KKK, and renewal of Southern Rite Freemasonry. Over the ensuing years, an all out assault was launched on Lincoln’s Greenbacks culminating in the Specie Resumption Act of 1875 tying the U.S. financial system to British “hard money” monetarism and paving the way for the later financial coup known as the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 (2).
While the Southern Confederacy plot ultimately failed, Britain’s “other confederacy operation launched in 1864 was successfully consolidated with the British North America Act of July 1, 1867. The hoped-for extension of trans continental rail lines through British Columbia and into Alaska and Russia were sabotaged as told in the Real Story Behind the Alaska Purchase of 1867.
Instead of witnessing a new world system of sovereign nation states under a multipolar order of collaboration driven by international infrastructure projects as Lincoln’s followers like William Seward, Ulysses Grant, William Gilpin and President McKinley envisioned, a new age of war and empire re-asserted itself throughout the 20th century.
It was this same trifold Deep State that contended with Franklin Roosevelt and his patriotic Vice President Henry Wallace for power during the course of WWII, and it was this same beast that ran the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963. As New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison demonstrated in his book On the Trail of the Assassins (1991), Kennedy’s murder was arranged by a complex assassination network that brought into play Southern secret intelligence assets in Louisiana, and Texas, Wall Street financiers, and a strange assassination bureau based in Montreal named Permindex under the leadership of Maj. Gen. Louis Mortimer Bloomfield. This was the same intelligence operation that grew out of MI6’s Camp X in Ottawa during WWII and changed its name but not its functions during the Cold War. This is the same British Imperial complex that has been attempting to undo the watershed moment of 1776 for over 240 years.
It is this same tumor in the heart of the USA that has invested everything in a gamble this past election.

Manson The Lost Tapes S01E01 - has short interviews with Mark Ross at Timestamps 11:00 minutes, 14:45 minutes 28:00 minutes (playing guitar, more interview ) Note from Professor Horan: There are quite a few false statements in this "documentary." For starters, Sharon Tate was NOT "hung from the ceiling." She was NOT "stabbed in her pregnant belly." And this misinformation is coming from the people who were responsible for establishing the truth about how these people died. Not to mention the now-obvious creative editing of statements by Sandy and the other other girls, which goes beyond the selective editing of other statements. I make a big deal out of this because ALL of these cases we're looking at have a list of things in common. And number one on that list is "Massive and relentless fictionalizing of murder cases deliberately intended to create made-for-TV villains." The media ALWAYS do this. But look at the help they get from "police authorities" in Boston Strangler, Zodiac, Manson, Son of Sam, Dahmer, Amityville Horror, Lipstick Killer-Dahlia, Zebra, SLA, Kennedy assassinations, JonBenet Ramsey, Madeleine McCann, and even Jody LeCornu. And then all these cases suddenly turn out to have dozens of other things in common...

On several occasions, family associates stayed at this Venice Beach home which is also the location of John Philip Haught’s questionable death. Mark Ross was born on Feb. 27, 1945 and was a friend of the Manson Family. He lived in a beach house located at 28 Clubhouse Avenue, Venice, CA 90291. On several occasions, family associates stayed at this Venice Beach home which is today described as a 3 bedroom, 2 bath restored classic beach house situated on one of Venice’s “Walk-Streets” which are tiny cobblestone walkways that do not allow vehicles and resemble more of small alleyways. It was at the home of Mark Ross, where on November 5, 1969, Manson family associate John Philip Haught, aka “Zero”, allegedly killed himself playing Russian roulette. When Los Angeles County Police responded to a call at 28 Clubhouse Avenue they found the body of a young man lying on a mattress with a gun and its holster nearby. The victim had a gunshot wound to the right side of his temple. Still in the home were other Manson family members who were all questioned individually and all provided matching witness statements; that Zero picked up a .22 Calibre revolver, spun the cylinder, and shot himself in the head. One of the family members was inside the bedroom with Zero and the others only heard the shots, however they all ran in and collaborated on what they had seen.Without any other evidence, the police concluded that it was indeed suicide. Later, an anonymous man told a Los Angeles Times writer that he was present when Zero died and that Zero didn’t kill himself but that one of the girls had shot him. However, the man disappeared before authorities could talk to him. Mark Ross, whose real name was likely “Mark Rosen”, later changed his name to “Aesop Aquarian”, which speculation exists that this was done so he could better hide from the Manson Family as he was in fear of them. However, in the early 1970s another group sprouted up on the Los Angeles scene and many of those members changed their names to include the “Aquarian” surname, which suggests and alternative possibility; that he changed his name to follow another group of wanderers. Frank Sinatra, Jr - started his education in public school, but after enduring endless fuss and jokes about his dad, his mother sent him to a private school in Arizona at which he was miserable. He and his dad exchanged many letters; Frank Sr. would say things like "How's the Wild West, have you met Zane Gray?", and Frank Jr. would write back describing the place as the Black Hole of Calcutta: "Having a black time, future looking black, present looking black, black, black, black." When Junior returned home after 39 months away, he found a Pontiac Bonneville convertible waiting for him, solid black from bumper-to-bumper, with a note attached from Frank Sr.: "Here's a little reminder of all those Black years you spent."
As a teenager, Frank was enrolled in the Desert Sun School in Idyllwild, California, a small, isolated boarding school in the mountains. Unlike his previous boarding school situation, his time at Desert Sun was a positive experience that Frank fondly remembers today. At Desert Sun, Frank and a friend, Rick Shaw, did a performance for which they received much acclaim: For each of Rick's impressionist paintings, Sinatra Jr. composed an impressionist melody.

FARGO -- A 26-year-old man who used to be in charge of packaging at a North Dakota sugar plant pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to organizing a ring that supplied drugs across two states.
Noah Bergland of East Grand Forks entered his plea to money laundering and continuing criminal enterprise charges. Investigators, who dubbed the case Operation Noah's Ark, said Bergland was the leader of an operation that has resulted in 19 indictments.
The plea deal calls for Bergland to forfeit $250,000 in drug sale proceeds. His drug-trafficking ring supplied heroin, cocaine, marijuana and Ecstasy across North Dakota and Minnesota, authorities said.
Numerous deposits, wires and transfers were directed into his bank account as part of the conspiracy, according to prosecutors.
"This enterprise generated an enormous amount of money through the distribution of controlled substances," Assistant U.S. Attorney Chris Myers said during Tuesday's hearing.
Neil Fulton, who heads the federal public defender's office in the Dakotas, had no comment.
Investigators said the drugs were picked up in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and elsewhere and sold to distributors and customers in the North Dakota cities of Fargo, Grand Forks and Williston, and the Minnesota cities of Alexandria and Thief River Falls.
A number of others indicted in the case are from in and around the Red River Valley, including from Grand Forks; East Grand Forks; Roseau, Minn.; and Moorhead.
Bergland, who had been in charge of packaging at the American Crystal Sugar Co. plant in Drayton, faces up to 20 years in federal prison. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 15.

The criminal enterprise charge can carry a mandatory life prison sentence, but Myers said Tuesday that the quantity of drugs in question doesn't meet that standard.
All of the remaining defendants are charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute controlled substances. Thirteen of them face money-laundering charges, and nine of those defendants also are accused of illegally using cell phones and money wiring services to support the operation.
Court documents accuse the defendants of distributing more than 5,000 grams of cocaine and more than 100 grams of heroin.
"We've identified many sources of supply for these drugs," Myers said.

 Serena (Irene) Dossenko, Starfield Organics
Serena (Irene) Dossenko grew up in Miami, Florida. Her entire career has been in business. She began as a cashier, and then moved into sales at Jordan Marsh Department Store. When Nieman Marcus opened its store in Bal Harbor, Serena was fortunate to get a full time sales position in the Women’s Sportswear. In three years she was promoted to Assistant Manager of the department, and offered the opportunity to receive Executive Training in the main store in Dallas, Texas. Serena did not fit into the conservative corporate Texan culture. An outspoken young woman, she broke protocol asking the store’s director for a promotion. As a result, she was let go after a total of 5 years with no explanation.
By then she had met her first husband, Montana musician Rick Wilson. Neither Wilson liked Dallas, so Rick’s Missoula, Montana band asked him to return. They jumped at the chance. One of Rick’s friends introduced Serena to Yoga and vegetarianism. Thus her new life began, focusing on metaphysics and natural healing. When her marriage ended, in 1979, she spent a year on the road going to Healing and Rainbow Gatherings, studying with different teachers such as Paul Pitchford, Viktoras Kulvinskas , and Reshad Field. Serena met wonderful, spiritual people, whose contact information she collected and catalogued.
In Tucson, Arizona she became involved in a Wheat Grass business, delivering trays of Wheat Grass to clients, and juice to local health food stores, her start as a businesswoman in the natural products and healing industry.
Her interest in metaphysics led her to the Esalen Institute. She was attracted by the opportunity to take classes like Gestalt, Becoming a Psychic, and especially Stanislov Groff’s Holotropic Breath Work. The timing was right. Serena heard that Stanislov Groff was giving a month long workshop on his practice, including top metaphysicians and other teachers such as Joseph Campbell, Adjit Mookerjee and Angeles Airian.
Serena’s destiny was set. She enrolled in the Esalen workshop, and met Barry Dossenko the first night. He had travelled from North Dakota to take the same course. They spent every day together. In 2 weeks he proposed and Serena accepted. The result was that this sophisticated, city dwelling business woman was transplanted near a small town in North Dakota. In February!
There, Barry began teaching her about organic farming. Barry had stockpiled bins of Chemical Free Grain. Serena believed that her networking would give her the means to market it. She sold it all. When one of the buyers asked if she could find more she did, becoming one of only 2 woman in the United States to be a Organic Grain Broker. Due to demand, Barry built an organic grains processing plant. Working in partnership, Serena helped train farmers in making the transition from chemical farming to organics at conferences she and Barry set up around North Dakota. Serena was a board member for the Organic Growers and Buyers Certification Organization.
Sadly, as often happens, the Dossenkos were forced to leave the farm. EDIT : due the meth lab bust )
Moving to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, Serena began Serena’s Frozen Foods. Her first product was an Organic Frozen Whole Wheat Croissant. She was unable to find certified organic bakeries, and her business ended.
The Dossenkos were invited to join the Biodome, an intentional healing community in Waynesville NC, beginning the current phase of their lives.
www.facebook.com/BiodomeGardenCommunity/
Serena was in charge of purchasing for the whole community. When the community ended, the Dossenkos decided to stay in Waynesville. They immediately built a home recording studio and began recording Ambient Electronica. Serena worked in merchandising throughout Western North Carolina. She started her own vintage collectable store, and now runs an Ebay store: Serena’s Stop and Shop. www.ebay.com/str/serenasstopandshop
In 2018, Serena became CEO of Starfields Organic, a woman-owned hemp farm. Barry is Operations Manager. The Dossenkos plan to bring to market multiple hemp products, including full spectrum CBD oil, tinctures, and specialized seeds.
Serena’s passion is to help create a local community where members work collectively to create a model for sustainable living for our troubled planet.
Barry Dossenko, Starfield Organics www.facebook.com/BEARSUSA Barry Dossenko grew up on a family farm. His first farming experience was with horse drawn equipment. As a result, he understands the development of the industrialization of farming, beginning with community based, steam driven, steel wheeled machinery to today’s modern mega machines. In the mid 70”s he was sprayed with herbicides when a hose failed on the farm sprayer. From then on he stopped using chemicals. In the early 80’s, Mr. Dossenko and his wife Serena, created F.U.T.U.R.E. Organics Inc. Through this farm-based business he expanded the farm’s acreage employing organic practices. The Dossenko farm became the 3rd farm, to be certified through O.G.B.A. in the state. F.U.T.U.R.E. Organics played a key role in the development of organic agriculture in North Dakota. Mr. Dossenko trained over 200 farmers in how to transition to Certified Organic production standards. He designed and built a state of the art, certified grain processing plant, and introduced certified organic seed on the farm.
A key achievement was production of the first Kashi certified organic cereal blends. Mr. Dossenko’s interest in sustainability began in his childhood working on the farm, helping his mother do gardening, bee keeping, and orchard work. In the 50’s, part of the economic survival for our small farm was hunting, fishing, and trapping. At 7 years old, try sticking your hands in a muskrat run in the middle of winter at sunset, the winds howling out of the northwest. You have walked for hours through the snow drifts with your dad. The icy cold of the trap you’re setting has numbed your fingers to the bone. On this property purchased by his parents in 1934, when the great dust storms were ravaging the plains, was the Five Sioux Chief’s summer buffalo hunting camp. Imagine me as a little boy experiencing the teepee rings, the clumps of berry bushes that had self-seeded nearby from food preparing, and the tanning wallows for deer and buffalo processing that edged the small lakes that dotted that wild landscape. Mr. Dossenko experienced Mother Nature speaking to him through the elders.
In college during the late 60’s, Mr. Dossenko became interested in researching consciousness and psychology. He spent time at Esalen Institute, studying Radix therapy and training in Holographic Breath work with Dr. Stanalov Groff. Learning about the clinical use of LSD and other psychedelics he began to use psychoactives for inner journeys. On one of these experiences, at the farm, he was taken into a shamanic state where the native elders appeared to be marching across the sky. He had been out on the land cultivating fallow ground, and had stopped the machine as the experience unfolded. He saw the elders in ghostlike form. He realized his eyes were now an eagle’s that had been in the sky that day. He allowed the eagle to take his sense of sight, and flying, became aware of the total environment as a 3 D image. Mr. Dossenko was shown through the eagle’s eyes how in the ecosystem the creatures, that had existed in the past thousands of generations, were now the one’s being poisoned by chemical-based agriculture. They were weeping, because the environment was bathed in artificial death brought by us.
These life experiences have sustained Mr. Dossenko‘s passion for the development of sustainable paradigms. He has started a new enterprise: “Starfields Organic.” It begins with his and Mrs. Dossenko’s small-scale hemp farm on a mountain side in western North Carolina. Mr. Dossenko has extensive expertise in what he terms ‘eco-tech sustainable systems integration.’ He knows that waste recovery, hemp based bio remediation, sustainable food, fiber, and energy must become our globally shared future. He is looking forward to finding and sharing with other’s who understand that we have yet to achieve the best for all inhabitants of our mother planet, Earth who sustains us all every moment

Pardon my ignorance, but who is Jack Johnson? (it seems you have been quoting him frequently here on the boards)
