How did David McNarie (dmac) obtain the documents he uses?

2. Well, no, McNarie has NOT "put himself out there." He hid behind a fake identity for a lot of years. And behind that identity, he has libeled a lot of people. And FWIW, he finagled his way into Josh and Gamberg's confidence by promising them he could get them on TV (he used to work for a company that produces episodes of shows like Unsolved Mysteries.) That's one of his little "secrets." Was a secret. So, just because he FAILED to make any money, doesn't mean he isn't trying. And I should also point out that he faces zero potential liability for framing two dead guys. You'll notice that a LOT of these TV "documentaries" and "books" do exactly that--frame dead people who can't legally sue. Framing two dead guys as a way to get his face on TV is not the same thing as "trying to solve the crime."
