Many people have never even heard of Chuck and Henry because this story was given about 2 minutes at the end of the PT 2 documentary. It has long been important to us because it is a report that, if analyzed as well as the Marty and Bo statements, could certainly have us posting and speculating for the next 16 years. Do we think they were involved in these murders? Probably not but how would we know?
The most interesting thing that people, who know the story, seem to overlook is that Chuck nor Henry ever went voluntarily (as Chuck leads us to believe in the doc) to the police station to report what they "saw". Instead Maggie L. who lived in the Keddie dorms reported Chuck about 2 weeks after the murders for having cuts on his hands and running his mouth. At the time she reported it she did not know, nor did the police know, that Chuck and Henry were in Keddie on the morning of the murders but Chuck (probably not knowing what they knew) told on himself.
On the documentary Chuck, like a lot of others, seemed to forget the story he told the police in 1981. He now says it was a van that they saw around 4:30 - 5:00am only to say a few seconds later 5:30 - 5:45am. He now says they went there to visit his girlfriend at the time to have some coffee and breakfast but she was not up (yet in 1981 they both said it was to see Henry's brother in law).
I guess we could pull the story apart even more and say that Henry talked to Josh on the phone but would not be interviewed for the documentary. Henry's sister and brother in law lived in Cabin 14 by the Sharp's. Henry's brother had lived in Cabin 28 several years before the murders and, according to the report seen on the documentary, Henry moved into Cabin 13 (Frank Davis's old cabin) in 1982 after the murders. It was Henry's sister who Sheila had visited on the morning of the murders and invited to spend the night but she had to babysit and could not. At the time of the documentary Henry was living with Dana's sister. It has also been speculated by some that Chuck's brother was linked to Tina. None of this information makes them guilty. Nobody made a documentary on it or hashed it out on the forums because Marty and Bo were front and center by the time Josh posted the report so very few people were interested in the fact that there were a lot of other stories to look at.
