No mention of him headed to Quincy before your talk of contacting Victoria. Heaven forbid anyone contact Victoria before he gets his 20 hours of Marty theory into her head. His sudden urge to do what he has never done stems from his desire to have the Marty theory pushed again, and his desire to write a book or do a podcast.
I'm not calling Jack Brown a liar either, but after 40 years anyone's memory would be a bit fuzzy. All I can go by is what was told years ago to the police. I recently listened to a unsolved podcast and the journalist was interviewing the alibi of a suspect YEARS after the crime and he began to tell his story but when he finished she started to tell him what he had told in his interview years before -right after the murder- and he stopped her and said, "if that is what I said at the time then that would be the most accurate." That's just the truth when it comes to changing or adding to a statement years after the fact - gotta go with what was told before public influence/theory.
Victoria doesn't need his info because she has it right here on the internet. If he wants to talk to someone who might possibly have the most valuable information then he needs to talk to Justin, Ricky, or Greg. Victoria writing about other suspects? I wouldn't hold my breath because she would need the entire Plumas News to even begin to dive into the possibilities - and I don't think she's up to the task. Why doesn't SHE interview Justin, Ricky, or Greg and actually research the case enough to ask some real questions? Yep that ain't gonna happen - this will just be another Keddie Murders news article. By the way has she ever written about anymore cold cases in the area since that 3-pc Keddie story was suppose to be the first story in a new column featuring previous cases involving Plumas County and its people??
