I would like to remind 28 not to get all bent out of shape over reports that were left out or statements not taken on the morning of April 12, 1981 because WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ALL OF THE CASE FILES. Josh Hancock DID NOT see all of the case files as was evident in the 2011 news article written by Josh Seabold. If Josh Hancock or Ms. McGlovin has anything that we have not seen then they should produce it until then all we have is what Josh chose to share and that is ALL.
If Jim the ex went over to the Smartts on the morning of the murders, for whatever reason, I'll believe it when I see a report that verifies what Glenna claimed happened 28 years later - remember she couldn't even remember 28 years later if LaRhonda was or was not in Keddie that morning. She also claimed Sue left her house around 6:00pm on Saturday evening yet there is a statement from 1981 of Walter calling the Sharp residence around 5:00pm and talking to Sue - and Glenna Meeks is the person who gave that statement!
The only thing I can see that the police did wrong was not questioning all of the kids as much as they obviously questioned Justin - but then again I haven't seen all of the evidence. All we have seen is whatever would tie Marty Smartts name to this case - thanks to the Meeks for leading Josh and Sheila in that direction.
I can only imagine how much more interesting that documentary would have been if Josh would have laid out this case and all of the suspects without trying to "solve" the case.
