Clearly all three of them were absolutely beaten to a pulp, but with lack of defense wounds makes it seem as though the boys were immediately unconscious when they were hit or possibly sleeping when it happened? I can’t picture a 15 and 17 year old boy, especially ones with troubled tendencies as these two, would not fight back even a little bit. That definitely puts a damper on the theory of them walking in on the attack or coming to rescue sue and Tina, but adds to the theory that it was Sue who came to the rescue.
