Well, again, if Johnny was hit from behind, he'd have no defensive wounds. And if Dana had slipped into insulin shock, but the people he was with didn't understand that, then... I had an uncle who was killed that way. Two wacked-out junkies broke into his apartment not realizing he was home. They beat him up to get him to tell them where his money was and they thought he was just being stubborn. They ended up stabbing him 47 times. Or, he could have been knocked out early on in the fight. Sue was the one who was obviously beaten into submission. That would be consistent with a weapon like an air rifle that was not as hard and heavy as a baseball bat or crowbar. It wasn't until she fell back and hit her head on the corner of the white table that she lost consciousness.
