What the hell do Chuck and Henry and Tom do NOW? They can't call an ambulance. If they dump the bodies in the woods, police will go looking for the crime scene....Why not take the boys to Cabin 28 and make it look like the whole thing happened there? It would only take a few minutes, and wouldn't necessarily make a lot of noise. But Sue wakes up and comes out to the living room and sees Dana lying face down in a puddle of Johnny's blood, so they have to do something about HER. And Tina. And they tell Tina "come with us and we won't have to kill Sue/the other boys" and they tell the boys "keep your mouths shut and Tina will be okay." And they take Tina out to the campgrounds near Camp 18 and she runs off later and dies of exposure. When they go back for her, she's gone, and they can't call the police about THAT, can they?
Cuz, not only does this hypothesis (right or wrong) explain EVERYTHING, including Phillip's story, it ALSO explains one more thing--WHERE WAS DANA'S DIABETIC KIT??? Why wasn't it found in Cabin 28? If he was killed in 28, then WHY DID THE KILLERS TAKE IT WITH THEM?
They didn't. They left it at the original crime scene.
No "premeditation." Just a "tie-up game that got out of control."
There are isolated areas in the woods where it would take a long time for people to find a body, and if they took the time to use a shovel and bury the bodies, they would never be found. That would leave them a lot of time to clean up a crime scene instead of taking the boys to cabin 28 and dealing with whoever is in the cabin, and they wouldn't know 100% sure who all was in cabin 28. Seems to me that taking them somewhere in the woods would be a lot easier than trying to stage a crime scene in an occupied cabin. Also, if we don't have all the police reports, how would we know where the insulin kit was at?
