Statements like this make me question Mike Gamberg's familiarity with the case files:
Davis said that about two hours after he got home he was asked to go to Anderson’s Mortuary in Quincy and help determine if the female victim was his sister or his niece. He said he determined it was his sister.
When Gamberg was asked to confirm Davis’ remarks on the video, he said the bodies were taken directly to the coroner’s office in Sacramento. Gamberg said there is no evidence in his files that they were taken to Quincy first.
Don Stoy report:
On completion of our preliminary investigation in the living room, Anderson's Mortuary responded at our request and, along with detective Forcino, took possession of the three victims.
Dana's autopsy:
Detective Forcino states that this end of the cord was cut by mortician Andy Anderson and that in fact this cord led to the other male victim.
If Andy Anderson (Anderson's Mortuary) cut the cord leading from Dana to Johnny I would assume it was because he was picking up the bodies from 28. Don Davis and Dan Dorris told in the documentary and outtake that they went down to the mortuary and I don't think the police would have asked them to drive to Sacramento to do that.
