We have no idea if Justin was/was not involved in anything .Maybe he went out after the killer was gone and really bent down to check on Sue. Justin being allowed to live because of Marty would make sense but would not explain Ricky and Greg's survival.
We also have no idea if Tina was involved but we also can't be sure that she hadn't talked about her mother to some guy and when he came there and Sue put up a fight he wanted to leave her dead and as humiliated as possible. If Tina, who is basically unaccounted for on Saturday, was roaming the neighborhood and at the Seabolts all day it's possible she didn't even know Dana was ever in Keddie or coming home with Johnny. Maybe them laying in the living room watching tv was a big kink in somebody's plans so they had to be eliminated.
