Marty Smartt Interviewed by Crim and Bradley

Recently we discussed how Marty would have known the victims were hit in the head with a hammer and bound by the time he was interviewed by Crim and Bradley. We all know Justin said he went into the living room and no doubt saw them bound. You don't have to look any further than Justin's statement and hypnosis session to know what he told the police he "dreamed". How would Marty know there was a wooden hammer in 28? Once again Justin described the wooden handled hammer the killer used (and left behind).

To me it's just a clear reality that Justin came home that morning and talked to Marty, Marilyn, and Bo about what happened or what he saw in 28. If we are here discussing this 37 years later with people we don't even know do we honestly believe they never questioned Justin as to what happened over there? That's unthinkable. I can't imagine my child (or a child that lived with me) being left alive in a house where 3 people were murdered and not questioning them on exactly what happened. Marty and Bo both implied in their interviews that they thought Justin saw something. That would have been a great time to tell the police that Justin said (like he told police on the day of the murders) that he slept through it - but that's not what they said. I think most people analyze Marty's interview from the stand point of here is Marty the murderer's statement. I try to put myself in his place: my step child just came home and said that 3 people were murdered in the house he spent the night in. It's unthinkable. I'd probably have to be medicated and I've never been on nerve medication in my life.
