We found a few interesting things in the report:

WINGATE'S COWBOY-TYPE HAT WAS ALSO TIED AROUND HER MOUTH.

Luclia Shumway sees Dana coming from the area of FR apartments. He was wearing a blue with wide tan striped shirt, light cord pants [conf by autopsy report] and a cowboy hat. (contradicts other statements).



INTERVIEW OF SHIELA SHARP DETERMINED

THAT SHE LAST SAW HER MOTHER ALIVE AT APPROXIMATELY 10:00 THE

PREVIOUS NIGHT WHEN SHE LEFT TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH THE NEIGHBOR.

TINA WAS ASLEEP IN THE BEDROOM SHE SHARES WITH HER MOTHER AT THAT

TIME.

Shaver Report:

Due to the emotional state of Sharp, Sheila Ann, I contacted her later approx 1645 hrs at Davis residence 25 N. Mill Crk. Rd. Qcy. She said she spent the night with the Seabolt family. Her sister Sharp, Tina was at the Seabolt res until approx 2200 hrs. and went home because her mother would not allow her to also spent night there. She said that a neighbor boy was also spending the night at her home with her brother, his name Smartt, Justin Dewayne 12 yrs. She said that when she left for Seabolt’s house approx 1900-1930 hrs, her mother, brothers, Greg, Richard and sister Tina were there and according the her mother her brother John was coming home later bringing Dana Wingate to spend the night. Tina joined her later at the Seabolt res. Where they watched TV until approx. 2200 hrs and Tina went home. Approx. 0800 hrs Sharp, Shelia Ann left Seabolt res., went home to change clothes and planned to attend church. She entered the home through the unlocked front door. She immediately saw the bodies on the floor. She didn’t ID any of the bodies but saw that two were bound, bloody and saw a knife on the floor. She ran back to Seabolt’s res. Told them what she had seen and they called of had someone call S/O. She then went with Seabolts to see about others that might be in the house. They looked in the window to bedrooms and saw that the 3 boys were still sleeping. They checked the other bedroom window and saw that Tina and her mother were not in bed or in the room. They banged on the bedroom window, awaken the boys, raised the window and removed them through the window. She dosen’t know if anyone went into the house.

TINA SHARP SPENT MUCH OF THE DAY OF THE MURDERS WITH HER MOTHER AND YOUNGER

BROTHRS TRAVELLING BETWEEN KEDDIE AND QUINCY, CALIFORNIA.
