I know for a 100% fact there was. I use to research names on there. Like the brother and sister Silberstein. The group of Yonkers doctors, they had it webbed out connecting to many incidents of other Satanic murders in America like Bob Berdella they even had overseas incidents on there like the Dutroux case in Belgium. I researched that site and posted some of my finding on the KidKenoma blog under the name James. Does anyone have a URL from the SOS cult brain site? I know I visited it as well about a year ago, and now that it's gone I was hoping to look it up in archives.

It disappeared. I haven't seen it in about a year either. I believe someone had things mapped out for a book.

I was able to get on it last spring. I haven't even tried lately. I think I have a complete list of names and a few other things. Let me see if I can put that stuff together.

And is Crag Glassman really dead? Or did he fake his own death as a publicity stunt to promote a book? Has anyone ever seen an obituary (easy to fake) or a newspaper article (impossible to fake) about this car accident on the Taconic Parkway on Halloween 1991? Sorry about the low quality, but stumbled upon this recently from The Herald Statesman newspaper (Yonkers - of course!) November 2nd, 1991 (click following):

I still say I found him. In the meantime, GREAT work! Also--he was the CHIEF of the reserve officers? That's very interesting. Tell me this isn't the same guy. I mean, he's even wearing the SAME GLASSES.

WOW! Where did you find that photo and care to share how you stumbled upon it? I don't know if it is a Witness Protection thing, but I still have to go with the fact that he is in the Social Security death index and that would be a hard thing to toy with. In Witness Protection, new Social Security numbers are definitely part of the plan, but faking death is not.
I guess anything is possible. I did buy a new box of REYNOLDS Wrap at the market recently, so it may be time to see my favorite Mad Hatter!

New identities are given to intelligence operatives all the time. Obviously the person would have to be dead or missing before a new one is given. I don't know anything about Craig Glassman, or if he's dead or not, but I do know a few pieces of paper are easily forged if it's wanted by people who can get it done. I doubt Glassman could fake his own death on his own given the death index report.

Oh, that's the EASIEST thing to "fake." You don't have to fake it. All you have to do is file a claim (like, by or on behalf of his daughter) for survivor benefits. That's it. If the claim is denied for lack of death certificate or any other reason, the "deceased" stays listed in the index. Then all you have to do is change your birthdate. Well, that's how easy it was back in the day.
The guy in the mug shot is named Craig Glassman. He moved from upstate New York to Florida right after Craig Glassman died. The birthdates are different. But he's wearing the same glasses. Which is weird.

Have a close relative visit and stay in touch with one of the highest profile serial killers of all time (and make sure the press knows about it). Keep the exact same name. And make sure the local Pearle Vision has a continuous supply of those fashionable 1970s specs.
I'm reaching for the Reynolds Wrap as we speak!
Although, Bin Laden was living just a few blocks away from the Pakistani Army/Academy (under their "eyes" so to speak!) so sometimes the most obvious can be.......THE MOST OBVIOUS!
This one Professor though, I feel is CASE CLOSED with all due respect.

Could be. But the newspaper article is a nice touch. And where DID the guy in the mugshot (dated 2002) get those glasses?
Let me see if I can find a higher res version of the picture of Glassman in the paper in 1977. See how it kind of looks like his right earlobe has been cut off and sewn back on? See the same thing on the mug shot? I'm not THAT crazy. Two Craig Glassmans, with the same ear, the same glasses both from Upstate New York.

I have the Charles Willeford book "Off The Wall" on Glassman. I bought it off of ebay a few years back for around $50.
As expected, the story and backdrop is from Craig's point of view. The book is 277 pages, but an easy read.
Although it gives a historical and personal experience from Craig, it also seems to embellish or "expand the truth" in some respects to make the main character (C.G.) look better.
Here's an example, from the night of the Berkowitz arrest on Pine Street taken directly from the book. This is the stakeout part when Craig was in the car with the NYC detectives (this part is true) and Berkowitz is heading towards his car and enters it:
"That's him!" Craig said. "Let's go!" Craig jumped out of the car. Running as fast as he could, he reached the car first. On the driver's side of the car, Craig pointed his .38 at Berkowitz's head. "Freeeze! Police! Craig said."
"Turn off the engine, get out of the car, and get your hands into the air!" Craig ordered."
"What took you so long, CRAIG?" Berkowitz said softly"
I think NYC detectives would have a different take on how things went down that night.
It should be noted though, that on the title page of the book, it does state "A true life NOVEL" by Charles Willeford
Isn't that a "double entendre" you English majors.....or Professors???

In an email from November 2020, Berkowitz wrote to Carl Denaro (apropos of nothing):
"...Many sad outcomes to include the unexpected passing of Craig Glassman. Haunting and frightening".
Outcomes? And if he died in a car accident, how is that "haunting and frightening"?
