I love to hear how 28 can piece together exactly when the murders began, when the wounds were made and by whom they were made. I love that he knows the weapons used were not the ones left behind. I wonder if he ever gives thought to the fact that the police have far more info than he will ever have and still can't say who was in cabin 28. Coverup - nah, just a puzzling case that only someone as brilliant as Dmac could solve.

Adding to the crime scene analysis rhetoric:
Quote from 28
The killers left around 4, 4:30.
*810412-0300c Victor Krois leaves cabin 23, after watching TV all night, & drives to the Exxon Mini Market to buy a Sacramento Bee newspaper. <Victor Krois / Crim> *810412-0300c Kathy Boscoe [Bosco], Cabin 24, gets up from sleeping and sees the back porch light on at the Sharp's. <Kathy Boscoe / Crim>
*They arrived at Keddie around 0400 hr on 4-12-81. (Henry Thompson to Deputy)
*They arrived at the Keddie turnoff around 0330hr and Henry said he wanted to see a friend in Keddie to see if he was going to work the following Monday (if he was still up).(Chuck Walke to Deputy) *I asked him also if there was anyone in Keddie or elsewhere that could confirm his actions while in Keddie that morning except Henry and he said that maybe Mike M saw him. I sent Detective Forcino over to ask Mike if he had observed Henry or Chuck in Keddie that morning and Mike told Forcino that he hadn't, he didn't think
Victor lived behind the Sharps cabin, Kathy Bosco lived across the street facing the backside of 28. Chuck and Henry were supposedly at Tom's house (the Sharps neighbor) between 3:30/4:00am. Why would Chuck say Mike might confirm him being in Keddie was Mike up too? None of these people just got up and went back to bed so how long were they up and didn't see anything going on at 28? Yet 28 knows the killer(s) left between 4:00-4:30am

I've been thinking about the phone booth recently. The trash can was near there, and identifiable prints were recovered from the booth if I recall? But they were dismissed?

the phone of the hook with the wire cut has always been weird. i read that it was an act of redundancy/safety on the killers part. Remember how if you didn't set a land line phone receiver back right in the cradle it would start doing an annoying beeping? No? lemme remind you im wondering if the killers took it off to make sure they cut the right cord? It took a min or two before starting up though, would they have risked the noise? Was it off long enough to make noise?

I love it Snoho! I had forgotten what a nuisance that sound was - so really why was the phone off the hook?
