Well, he told Crim and Bradley he HAD to hide Bo's pills from Justin and Casey. Even Bo didn't know where they were.

Has anyone ever considered that maybe someone, possibly Justin, used Bo’s pills on Ricky and Greg? Or maybe half of one each? Wasn’t he on more than just an anti seizure medication?

I don't know Kay, Karis's son has been on medication for epilepsy since he was 15, taking a handful of pills daily but still managed to function. Not sure what Bo was taking but would like to think if the boys were given pills to take it would have been more than one pill and certainly they would have remembered taking it - if it was crushed up in drink then surely it would have tasted funny and/or it probably would have made them sick. Funny how, 38 years later, we still try to come up with reason why they don't talk/know anything. Ricky should have been questioned as much as Justin about what happened - if not by LE by family.
Sheila always said that her family didn't talk about it and that's very understandable to a point, but for 3 years Tina was still missing. A year after the murders Don and Nancy wrote a letter to the editor in the FRB about how they did not want the murders to become a political issue in the local sheriff's race. I don't want to judge their actions but its hard for me to swallow that Tina had been missing for a year when they wrote the letter yet there was never one plea for anyone with information to please come forward.

I was also wondering about the family's response to Tina being missing. Nobody seemed to care. We have all seen the heart wrenching pleas from relatives of other kidnapping victims on tv and in the papers. For weeks, months, even years, relatives beg for information on every media outlet that will have them, but the Sharp camp seems awfully quiet. Does anyone (maybe with access to newspapers.com) know whether the family made more than a cursory attempt to elicit help from the public?
Another thing that I cannot let go of is the fact that the police had no way to contact Tina's next of kin. The report from LE stated that they had a difficult time notifying someone that the remains were Tina's. I would think that her relatives would have made sure that LE knew where to find them in the case that she was found living. Why was there no heart-sick aunt, grieving father, distraught sister or anyone for that matter calling the police department constantly to ask where this little girl was? I have to assume no one bothered or LE would have had contact numbers.
Was this because the family members knew she would not be found alive?
I am new here, by the way, so I hope I have posted this in the proper place and it hasn't already been discussed 1000 times.

Well, he told Crim and Bradley he HAD to hide them from Justin and Casey. I'd hide them too! From Justin AND CASEY?? So he was worried about the younger boy getting into them. Weirdly, I just had the thought that, from the limited interviews, marde seems more observant/attentive and concerned about the boys than marilyn.

I agree with you snoho. My son is has epilepsy. I kept his medication put up as I do with any medication. Marty also mentioned he gave Bo his meds. I also handed my son (three pills, twice a day for 12 years) his pills just like Marty said he did. I don't find that strange, as no one wants to see someone have a seizure. It is very scarey. You want to make sure you SEE the person take the meds. I have written this on other forums but them seem to know more about the condition than me. I LIVED with it.
We know there is no evidence (that we have) Bo was in that house and I can't believe a man with that condition was able to be present in that house while that terrible crime was committed and not go into a seizure.
And lastly, I don't know what Bo was taking as far as medicine, but I do know my son takes a sleeping pill every night because the medication keeps him up.

Didn't Mardy also keep prescription sleeping pills hidden from the kids? I could see where one of those could have made Justin loopy. We also need to take into account this kid's upbringing. Who knows what he was exposed to in the womb and growing up with Marilyn. Did he have learning disabilities? Was he smoking pot or doing other types of drugs at this time?

Also, he could have just been sleepwalking. I did at that age. He was living in a strange town, played aaaaaalllllll day at high energy, went to sleep in a strange house, and heard a scream. And don't forget the burritos for supper. Could easily have been sleepwalking.
